Perfect trap.

We kissed the kids and said our good byes.

"Coming back in few days alright" i said as i kissed faith and marcus.

We got in 2017 Honda CR-V. August drove us to a motel . On our way we stopped by a electronic store and got some wireless camera's. I installed two by the door .

As we got in august took the laptop out and we sat up all night waiting to see if anyone would come by the door.

I called Cassandra and asked her about the kids and she said they were sleeping.

"Baby you think one of us should have stayed home with the kids " i said

"Yeah what if they followed us" raven said

"Cassandra make sure all the doors and windows are closed alright and the alarm on " i said

"Okay mahm " she said and end the call.

I woke up to the sound of my phone going off. I opened my eyes and saw august sitting in the couch drinking.

"Baby come look at this " he said

I saw two guys standing at by the door. I looked at my phone and saw that it was Cassandra calling.

"Raven get up " i said very low and point them to the laptop

I grabbed the three silencers and gave one to august. Raven and her husband had there's.

I rushed into the bathroom and gave Cassandra a call.

"Gab some people outside  trying to get in the house help the kids are crying " she said as she answered . I could hear the alarm going off.

"Have you called the police"

" yes i did "

" Okay good. I'll be there soon. Daddy always has a safe room in his house's, is there any in that house " i asked her

"Well there's this metal door downstairs in the basement i never went inside becaz it has codes " she said

"Okay thank god , get the kids hurry and go to the basement,  the code is 1023 "

"Okay mahm and cassandra stay on the phone now go hurry"

I rushed out the bathroom,  walked over to the door and started shooting.

"Wtf gab we dnt know if its them " august said

"Its them and they're at the house "

"What " raven said

"Fuck lets go " august said grabbing the bag

We ran out the door and shot every camera out.

As we got outside a black van sped off.

"Go get my kids , am going after that van " i said as i broke into a car and jump start it.

"Baby be careful aiight " august said and give me a kiss

"I love u "

"I love u too " he said as they rushed into the car and drove off . I sped off at the van.

I held the phone to my ears. "Cassandra "

"Yes mam we got the basement but marcus ran off i tried to hold him but he ran off by the time we got down to the basement, I'm sorry Gabriel I'm too scared to go get him " she said crying

The van was speeding really fast then suddenly they stop driving and two guys jumped out the back and started shooting at me.

I ducked and tried to control the car but crashed in a wall. My head hit the gear stick and started to hurt as my vision got blurry. The door flew up and one of the guy stood there for few mins then pull me out. I held on to my guns but i couldn't move, my body was way too weak. I looked up and the guy was pointing the gun to my face.

I could feel the blood running down my face from hitting the gear stick .

"Who sent you" i said

"Your enemy " he said then i heard a gun shot and i blocked out.

August POV.

I took my phone out and gave it to raven.

"Call Cassandra "

"Okay " she said then dial Cassandra

"Hello yes aug "

"Speaker " i said to raven

"Okay" raven said

" where are you guys " i asked Cassandra

" in the safe room but aug marcus is running around crying " she said

"What !? Go get him " i said upset

"I'm scared "

"If he's still crying it means they haven't gotten in the house as yet Cassandra , please go get my son " i said

"Okay okay " she said

"Am going to go outside into the house guys don't open back this door unless its me " she said to kids

"Am going up the stairs out of the basement "

"Okay where is marcus crying coming from"

"It sounds like the living room"

" now i want u to run as fast as u can to go get him and back to the basement he's a baby you can manage to grab him and back to the basement " i said

"Omg august i think i just heard the door flew open"
