As we reached the door of my house we turned and looked at each other.
'i guess this is goodbye.' Lakyn said giving me puppy dog eyes
'well, not really. would you like to come inside?' i asked
'Are your parents home?" he questioned.
'Pshh nope.i live with my best friend." i said happily
"wow. your house is ginormous.' he stated as he looked up at our 4 story home.
"Nah its ok.' i said as i unlocked the door and we walked in.
i look up the stairs i see Kate standing at the top step staring and Lakyn and i with her hand over her mouth. We give each other an OHMYGOD look. she turns around and races to her room hoping Lakyn hasnt noticed her. i turn to him
"umm do you mind if you call a friend to hang out with kate?" i said reffering to my bestie.
"Oh ok. sure." He says and he picks up his phone and heads to the hallway.I make my way up to kate's bedroom and knock on the door.
" Kate.Its me. Naomi." she come out and gives me a 'What the frig is Lakyn doing in our house!' look.
"he knocked me over so i invited him inside." i said. she looked at me stunned.
"Really?!" she asked.
"Yep. and now he's calling a friend.For you. And oh, get out of your pajamas" i added with a smile as i headed down the staris and back to Lakyn.
