"I mean the teacher should at least give us more time to study instead of giving us the review before the actual date of the test. I mean how in the world did he get his job?" The brown-haired girl ranted to the petite girl who was next to her shoving her books into the locker.

"Right?" She asked, finally sighing to look at the girl. The caramel skinned girl just bobbed her head at the music that was blasting in her ear, not even listening to a word her best friend had ranted. "Madison!" She exclaimed.

Madison jumped dropping the book she had in hand and a shock over crossed her face. She bent down, picked up the book and removed her earphone, finally giving a hearing to the world.

She turned to her best friend and smiled sheepishly. "Sorry, dozed off." She shook her head, placing the final book in her locker. "And I think it's easy." She shrugs, catching the last sentence Amanda had said.

Amanda, the girl who had ranted stared at her with an unimpressed face. "Right, I mean who am I talking to? You literally have all A's with a hundred percent. I mean who even?" She asks.

"This girl," Madison smirked, pointing her thumb at her chest. "It's real simple honestly. If you want I can help you?" She offers, placing both of her earphones in her ears and took her book bag from the ground to face her.

Amanda squealed, bobbing her head up and down. "Please love! I'm failing that class only and I made a bet with Paul who'll have a better grade, the winner gets twenty bucks."

"Sure just-"

"Well, I doubt Paul will win since he's hanging out with the cult doing their druggies." A new voice interrupts their conversation, cutting Madison off.

Both Madison and Amanda turns towards Axel Yurt, the popular boy of the school and Amanda ex-boyfriend. Amanda rolls her eyes as did Madison. "Hey, cutie." Axel winks at Madison, placing his arm over he shoulder.

Madison sucks in a breath counting till she got to four Mississippi's, desperately trying to depart from him. "Don't touch me," she murmurs, taking a few steps till she was safely away from him.

Amanda glares at him, "watch your mouth asshat, my brother can easily beat your sorry ass if he wanted to. But it's too bad he can't because you'll run off like a pussy."

Axel only glares at her, his face cover with a shade of red. He took a step towards her but stopped as another voice intrudes. "Hey!"

Madison closed her eyes in relief as she saw Jacob Black walk towards them, her cousin. "He causing trouble?" He asks her. Madison shook her head but Amanda nodded.

"He touched her and he's bad mouthing my brother." Amanda dismisses the glare Madison had thrown at her.

"Leave them alone or else you'll have to deal with me." Jacob threatens Axel. Jacob had the advantage of taking Axel down due to his height, he didn't look like a sixteen-year-old, more like eighteen years old. So he could intimidate anyone he liked, but he only did it if his cousin was in trouble.

Axel puffs out his chest but swiftly turned around leaving Amanda, Madison, and Jacob alone at the entrance of the school. Jacob turns his body to face Madison, a little smile playing down his lips. "You okay cuz?"

Madison just nodded, biting her lip as she saw Axel glare from afar. "Yeah, just a little bit shook." She shrugs.

The three of them walked out of the school building and walked down the stairs towards the parking lot. "You want a ride home?" Madison asked looking up at them from her eyelashes.

"Yo Jacob, Amanda! Over here!" The sound of Embry Call calling Jacob startle them. Amanda and Madison faced Embry from where he was yelling.

He was with the rest of the cult. Sam, Paul, Jared, Quil, Embry, Seth, Brady, and Collin. All of them stared at the two girls with a smirk, a little twinkle in their eyes as they saw Madison.

She tilts her head like a lost pup as if she knew they were talking about her.

"She's too cute," Jared said shaking his head as he looked over at the two girls who were beside Jacob. "I mean look at her! She looks like a pup. A newborn pup!"

Sam shakes his head at his beta. "Paul, we accepted that your sister gets involved in this but not her. She's too fragile."

"So I'll see you at three?" Amanda asks in hope that Madison will come over to help her study for her test tomorrow. Madison nodded smiling.

"Great, I'll see you then. Just enter the house. I'll probably be at Sam's to get some muffin Emily made."

Madison chuckle but nods. "Try not to eat many, you know what happened last time." She warned as she got into her Jeep. Amanda stuck out her tongue playfully.

"No promises."

Madison shook her head, "Bye Guys!" She says as she reversed her Jeep and speed down straight where the cult was standing next to their vehicle.

She smiles timidly as they all looked at her do a u-turned and speed down her road.

"She's not real." Seth shook his head at her beauty.
