It's been two weeks since the Lahote's and the Stormy's made contact. No, they weren't ignoring each other. It was a trip that separated them for a while.

Madison and her parents had to visit her family across the country; California. When she heard she was leaving to visit her favorite aunt she was excited but after telling Amanda and Amanda telling Paul without her he got mad, sad even.

So when she was about to leave her heartfelt an ache. An ache of a broken heart or a saddening heart. Paul was from afar so she couldn't see him but he knew she could feel what he felt.

He was mad that she didn't tell him but then again after the kiss they shared they didn't speak about it, not even once. And that's what bothered her; it was slightly her first actual liking kiss and he wasn't even affected by it. A reason why she didn't want to tell him she was leaving.

In her head, it looked like if she did tell him it would have been like rejection that tore her away from home but in reality, she was just visiting a family member she had missed dearly.

She was gone after that. Two whole weeks and another week to go through without her. Paul and Amanda were bored, both were sad that their favorite innocent girl wasn't here to entertain them with her awkwardness and her cute giggle.

Amanda sighs as she enters the living room finding her brother laying on the couch like a slob. She plops herself next to him, she sitting on his legs not caring if he was hurting. She already knew he was a werewolf so it didn't bother her much.

"We need to talk." Amanda pauses the movie he was watching and stared at him like a disappointing mother. "I've seen a lot of Criminal Minds that I can cover up my tracks of killing you easily, although it sucks because the pack will know but still. That won't stop me from you hurting my best friend."

At this, Paul moved his gaze from the paused tv to her face. They didn't look alike so much, she looked more of her mother than her father. "Hurting who?" He played dumb, anticipated at her reaction.

Amanda just glared and stuck her tongue out. She stood up, removed his legs from the couch and plot herself in a crisscrossing position. "You know how much she means to me, Paul. She's way too innocent for our world."

"I know but we don't know yet about her. The bloodsucker doctor said she's descendants of the Storm's pack. To be clearer her great-great-grandfather was the alpha, the one that passed away five years ago? Yeah she carries his blood, meaning-"

"She can shift into a wolf," Amanda stated. Her mind wonders to Madison, thinking of her best friend turning into a wolf. She couldn't see it, she was way too innocent for it.

"Yeah me either." Paul nodded as if he knew what she was thinking about. "I'll take care of her if that's what you're scared of. She's my imprint Amy, I wouldn't let anything happen to her. That's a promise."

Amanda smiled at him, a bright one that made him look at her like she was crazy. "You kissed her." She starts, "and she didn't even push you away." She squeals, "She's not letting her phobia get to her!"

Paul wandered back when she could've gotten hurt, from their heated conversation to a heated make-out. He smirked as he recalled that she didn't push him away or panic as he held her. He knew why because she wanted him more than just a kiss.

"Paul I love you and you know that but don't hurt her. Please don't hurt her, there's a reason why she has Aphenphosmphobia." She sighs as she recalled her best friend past.

Paul growled, knowing what happened. Since the mind of a wolf can be displayed out in the air, Jacob accidentally revealed all of her problems.

She was once a happy toddler when she lived here in La Push first, but when she was seven she was kidnapped and sadly for a girl her age she was touched by a man that made her delusional and came down with her phobia.

After that, her family moved to Forks and lived near Charlie Swan for precaution since they didn't find the man who had given her the phobia. After that, the Cullen was helpful as ever as they all took care of the girl every single day.

Paul hated the man that did that to her, he shook as he went through the memories that displayed her when she was found in Jacob's eyes. Amanda's eyes widened, she tried calling him but he was shaking violently — almost shifting.

Before he turned, another wolf barged into the room, standing in front of Amanda shielding her from his sudden turn. Paul's wolf growled but soon stopped as he got a whiff of his imprint. He narrowed his eyes as he turned around and faced the wolf.

There she was, his imprint was standing in front of him in her glorious wolf form. Her fur was the color of the night, pure black with a white patch on her forehead running down her nose. Her eyes though, they were red. A vivid shade of red.

She was in awe of him. She looked up at him and growled playfully that he was still taller than her. Paul just gave her a wolfish grin, placing his snout on her head playfully.

'I don't like you' Madison whines staring up at him through their link. 'I should be tall too but no, my genetics aren't strong.'

'You still look beautiful.' He licks the side of her snout. 'Now, do you know how to shift back?' He asked her, Madison nodded.

'Okay, let's go outside. Grab a towel and shift back because Amanda is having a heart attack.' At this Madison looked at her and gave a wolfish grin at her best friend and raced outside as she shifted back, along with Paul.

Amanda gasps as the wolf shift into Madison. "Awe come on! I wanna be a werewolf too!"

"Awe come on! I wanna be a werewolf too!"
