Chapter 2

Andrew was overjoyed when he had finally been able to spot Hanna. It had taken him longer than expected to be able to find her. The place was dark and Hanna was short, probably too short, that Andrew had almost given up and taken the offer from a few other people to join them. No. I’ll find her. I have to. Sitting and finally being able to talk to her was the only reason I signed up for this session.

Andrew didn’t know that Hanna’s was asleep until he had been close enough to see her face. He had plan to do a friendly, “Hey can I join you?” but that wasn’t going to work so he thought that the quiet approach would be best. Andrew watched over Hanna for a just s few second before he quietly sat down; making sure that he didn’t disturb her. He didn’t know how she would react to seeing him, but he sure wasn’t expecting this kind of reaction.

“Oh my gosh.” Hanna jumped and almost screamed. She was now gasping for air as she recovered from the scare.

“Sorry. I didn’t mean to scare you.” Andrew had to refrain himself from laughing not wanting to make this a bad first encounter.

Hanna’s vision was unclear due to the darkness and having just woken up, but the voice was somewhat familiar. Oh gosh. Is it who I think it is? Hanna blinks a few times to clear her vision and almost jumps out of her seat. Andrew!

“W..well you did. Don’t ever do that again.” Hanna was flustered as she scanned the auditorium. There were still plenty of other seats left.

“Sorry.” Andrew smiles as he said it. The room was pretty dark, but Hanna could tell that Andrew had a beautiful smile. It was one of those smiles that one could look at for the longest time and not get tired of looking at it.

Hanna cleared her throat and sat up in the seat. As she sat up, Hanna looked at the seats in front of her and the over at Andrew. The rows were pretty closed to each other leaving very little leg room. Hanna was barely 5 feet and so she had no problem stretching her legs, (good thing the chairs were big enough for her since she was not a small girl being a size 14) but having those long legs and being the height that he was, Hanna would not have been comfortable at all. .

“Are you comfortable?” Hanna asked Andrew.

Andrew looked around. “Yea. Why?”

Hanna looks at Andrew’s legs and then back up at him. “Cause...well….”

Andrew followed Hanna gaze and laughs. “I’m fine. I’m use to it.”

Even his laugh was pretty addicting. Hanna nods and forces her attention towards the stage. She thought that she could feel Andrew’s eyes on her, but she felt too uncomfortable and nervous to check for sure.

The session took a whole hour and thirty minutes and by the end of it, Hanna really just wanted to go back to her room and sleep. Yes, the session was long and boring, but by just having Andrew there next to her, made everything bearable. They didn’t say anything to each other at all during the whole thing, but it almost felt like they’ve known each other this whole time.

“Oh my gosh. Freedom.” Hanna stretched as she walked out of the auditorium. Her arm must have been in someone way because next thing she knew someone shoved her causing her to lose her balance.

“Whoa.” Hanna stumbles backwards and ends up bumping into a person behind her. She feels hands come around the sides of her arms, startling her and she immediately steps away.

“Sorry.”

“Its alright. Everyone loses their balance every once in awhile.” Andrew replied, smiling down at her.
