You and Ventus have been together for three years now. You guys earned the title of 'power couple' from a familiar bluenette and brunette whom you've both grown up with. In those years, you felt like you were on cloud nine. Ventus was everything you wanted, and you loved him to death.

Until today.

Ventus told you how much he wanted to see the worlds and experience new things. He's been bugging you about it for a couple of years, and you've protested various times in hopes of keeping him safe. You didn't think it was right to let him go out into the worlds on his own, and he's offered to take you along, but you had to watch over Radiant Garden after the passing of Master Eraqus, and you didn't particularly like the idea of Master Xehanort watching over the place, or the old man in general.

Today he was angry at the fact you denied to let him go. Ventus was purposely avoiding you today and Aqua and Terra noticed it. You were started to get worried, but you shrugged it off since you wanted to give the blond some time to cool down.

When you spotted Ventus training alone outside, you decided that this was a perfect time to approach him. As you watched your boyfriend swing around the course effortlessly out of anger, you stood as far away as possible from upcoming attacks. He didn't notice you until you decided to clear your throat, then he stopped.

"Hey Ven," you greeted with a soft smile, "how are you?"

"Why is it any of your business how I'm doing?" He asked bluntly. Well, there goes the stubborn Ventus.

You were taken aback by his tone as you raised a brow. You crossed your arms as you sighed, "Ventus, I just want to know-"

"Y'know [Name]," he said as he glared towards you, "sometimes, you act more like a mother than a girlfriend. Y'know that? And in those times, I feel like I'm single. Like this relationship doesn't even exist."

You were speechless as Ven started to approach you. You watched as his once soft, ocean blue eyes went to stone-cold ice. You gulped as he stopped directly in front of you, glaring down at you so intensely. You saw how he clutched his keyblade in his hand, and that's what made you even more nervous.

"Ven, I just think it's not a good idea," you managed to find your voice again, "I care about your safety and I don't want something bad to happen to you-"

"[Name] babe," he laughed bitterly as you shrunk in sadness, "you know who you're talking to, right?"

You were silent for a few seconds. You sighed out as you pursed your lips, "... No, no I don't Ventus."

The blond's eyes widened as you continued with a clear of your throat, "I've never seen someone get so pissed over something so small. You don't know what's out there waiting for you. You don't know what's out there waiting to kill you, Ventus. Is staying here with me not enough for you? You're so clueless sometimes and you never understand why we argue sometimes because of that. I'm doing this for your own good but it's your life, and you get to choose whatever path you want. I don't care anymore."

You stormed away before the blond could even get to you. Ventus considered calling out your name, but he didn't as he stood his ground and watched you walk away. At this moment he didn't know if exploring or you mattered. He grunted to himself as he shook his head, chuckling to himself as he started to swing his keyblade again.

He knew you'd come back – you always would.
