I woke up to the sound of someone screaming. I jumped up and ran to the door, grabbing my staff along the way. As I got outside I saw a woman being attacked by a fiend. This fiend was a gray wolf with bright red eyes, the girl was scratched and bloody. I ran and started summoning. The flying beast flew straight toward the fiend and attacked. I thought it was over, that the girl was ok. Next Zack ran and tried to stop the beast I summoned.
"No!" I yelled.
The beast, in retaliation of thinking Zack was attacking it, struck out and hit Zack. He flew and hit a tree which knocked him unconscious. The beast I summoned flew away and the wolf ran off, I looked at Zack.
"No.." I whispered.
The towns people and I when to his side and saw that he was fine he just had a knot on his head.
"You idiot," I whispered as I helped him wake up. "What were you thinking?!"
