"why do you have circles under your eyes? are you getting enough sleep?" honey asked her, as innocent as ever. "i dont get that much sleep.." she said clearly, her voice gathering strength with how comforted she felt being by all of these people.

"then is that why you don't smile?" tamaki questioned. she looked down to her pale hands. "straightforward, much?" one of the twins had said, glaring at the "prince".

"take it easy on the poor girl, she's probably been through a lot," haruhi answered. "you don't have to respond to that." she looked up to them and let out a silent chuckle. to which, she slapped her hand to her mouth. "did i just do that?" she thought to herself, a surprised expression on her face. "um," she felt embarrassed all of a sudden, knowing she hasn't let that come out of her mouth in, most likely, forever.

haruhi smiled, "you just laughed, didn't you?" the tension in the air seemed to grow lighter, and everyone looked at her with curious looks, but with positivity.
