Chapter 30: Kiss Of Agony

"You have said a lot, and I mean, a lot of words over the near eight years we've known each other." She looked down at him with a smile. She giggled, "You have no idea how long I've waited to hear those words from you." She softly whispered as she wiped her eyes.

Artemis was still clueless as to what was happening in this moment. Holly didn't appear to be upset, quite the opposite in fact. This was not the response he was expecting.

"H-Holly..."

She placed a finger on his lips and shook her head, "Shush.." With a smile she leaned down to his ear and whispered, "Me too. I've fallen for you... Artemis." She pulled back to see his expression as she had confessed the feelings she had harbored for years. It felt as though an enormous weight had been lifted off of her chest.

There are certain moments, human moments, that no amount of research, experiments, or understanding could compare to a genuine, involuntary sensation. In this instance, Artemis was awestruck. As her kind words imprinted themselves into his mind, Artemis was overwhelmed with what he would only describe as absolute bliss. He slowly reached his hand up to her cheek as he took into account every detail of her face. Holly giggled as she nuzzled her cheek in his hold, reaching down and wiping the tears that were falling down the sides of his face.

"I had no idea you felt so strongly about..."

Artemis pulled her down and kissed her bowtie lips before she could finish her sentence. He did not think he could endure the rest of this conversation without literally dying of embarrassment. There will be plenty of time later on for that. Right now, he wanted to truly live in this moment. Everything was beginning to fall into place for him. Little did he know, Holly was thinking the exact same thing.

Holly pressed herself closer to his warmth as she returned his kiss, placing both of her hands onto his chest. Artemis grabbed her shoulders and rolled towards the middle of the bed, now being on top of her. He smiled at her slightly shocked reaction before deepening the kiss. Without thinking, she parted her lips and met his tongue with her own as she slid her hands up and slipped his suit jacket off of his shoulders. He pulled away for a moment, tossing his jacket onto the floor. He then slid her shirt up her body slowly, pausing only to lean down and kiss her stomach, noticing how tense her muscles felt against his lips and how her breathing had begun to pick up. Holly covered her mouth with the back of her finger as she was turning bright red for a moment before giving him a shy smile, helping him remove her shirt completely. He was pleasantly surprised to see the lack of a bra.

Holly turned her head to the side and squirmed a little underneath him, "I-it's impolite to stare..."

Artemis blinked out of his stupor, "I was simply admiring." He leaned down and kissed the crook of her neck, whispering softly into her ear, "You look absolutely stunning, my love." He sat up and slightly tugged at her shorts, hoping to get a response. Without saying a word, Holly lifted her hips up so that her shorts could easily slide off, which he accomplished, slightly disappointed to see she was wearing a pair of green-laced panties.

Artemis leaned down and kissed her stomach once more, trailing his kisses slowly up her body only to pause when he reached her chest. He bit his lip before slowly starting to fondle her breasts. She arched her back slightly, pushing her chest more into his hands. He leaned down and very lightly licked the tip of one of her breasts before sucking on it gently. Holly let out a moan through gritted teeth and put one hand on his shoulder and the other on the back of his head.

"Oh Arty. Mmm... That feels so good..."

As he continued to suck on her breasts, she began breathing heavily. She pulled him away from her chest and sat up, reaching over and unbuttoning his shirt, properly this time. She bit her lip and slipped his shirt off. Afterwards, she leaned in and kissed Artemis on his neck as she tried to undo his pants. Artemis finished the task for her along with the removal of his boxers.
