Katie and Dean had finally reached Albany. Katie shivered as they got out of the car.
"Are you cold?" Dean asked.
"I'm fine." Katie said as she ran her hands over her goose bumped arms.
"I think I have an old jacket in the trunk." Dean replied, ignoring Katie's argument. He walked over to the trunk and unlocked it. Katie looked at all the weapons, taking glance at the demon trap painted on the hood. Dean dug for a while, until he found a brown leather jacket.
"Here." Dean said.
"Thanks." Katie said and graciously took the jacket. She put it on and laughed at the size of it. Katie was around 5'5, around seven inches shorter than Dean. The jacket went past her waist and went over her hands.
"Better?" Dean asked.
"Much better." Katie smiled up at Dean. Together they started to walk towards the dim lighted police station. It looked like most of the police officers were either on duty or had gone home. Dean knocked on the locked front door. A police officer looked up and rolled his eyes. He got up and unlocked the door.
"What do you guys want?" The police officer snapped.
"Yeah, FBI." Dean flashed his fake badge. "This is my partner. She's relatively new, which is why she doesn't have a badge." The police officer looked flustered.
"I am so sorry agents. Please come in." The police officer opened the door wider for the couple. "So what brings you here agents?"
"There's been a string of abductions going around. We heard one of the victims were from here." Dean said casually.
"Oh yes. We have all the abducted victims names if you would like them Agent." The police officer dug through his files and found the list. He handed it to Katie.
"Thanks." Katie replied. Dean stared at the police officer.
"Well? Are you going to tell us more about this list?" Dean asked, a tone of disapproval in his voice.
"Oh yes! I am so sorry agent."
"Whatever, stop rambling, and start informing." The officer nodded.
"This list contains all the victims, so far, that have been abducted all across the country. It is up to date, I assure you." Katie nodded.
"Anything else?" Dean asked.
"That's pretty much it."
"We have to go." Dean told the police officer. He and Katie got up, shook the officer's hand and left. As they started to walk towards the car, Dean asked if Katie would call Sam.
"Tell him to get his ass down here with Cas." He told her. Katie walked a small distance away and called Sam.
"Text me the motel address." was all Sam said in return. Katie walked back to the Impala, where Dean was waiting for her.
"What did Sam say?" Dean asked as he started up the car.
"To text him the motel address. He'll probably be here in what a day?"
"Probably. If he drives. Or, if Cas flashes him here, he'll be there in a minute."
"Ah." The couple rode in silence as they looked for a motel. Finally, they found one on the outskirts of the city, called the "Albany Motel". What an original name. Dean went to the front desk and booked a room as Katie texted Sam the motel address. Dean came back to the car and parked it in front of a peeling bright blue door with 43A on it. Katie walked inside to meet a couch at the door, with a TV. There was two beds, and the couch looked like it was a pull out bed. Dean placed his gun on the television.
