Our house was destroyed during the attack that killed my parents. Everything was destroyed. Nothing could be salvaged. I had to get the twins out of this danger zone. Yes the land was cleared by the bombs. But in those bombs were bacteria. Bacteria that was exotic to us. My brothers didn't have a great immune system. I had to get them out of this area.

I knew of a place that has not been bombed. And that is a safe haven for survivers. I had to get there to save my brothers life.

Its hard for an eight year old to carry two five year olds across the country. Not only carry them, I also had to provide food and water. I had to do it. And I did my best.

My brothers died two weeks later. I couldn't keep them alive. I found food and fresh water every night. But it wasn't enough. They began to get sick a week in to the journey. I told them they have to hold on until we get there. They died one mile away from the safe haven. The just dropped dead. I screamed up into heaven to my parents.

" Why did you leave me?!" I cried. But of course I didn't get an answer. I sat by my dead brothers and cried. I couldn't bear leaving them. At that moment I couldn't forgive them for leaving me. For giving me the guilt of my brothers deaths. I tried my best.
