Noah
"And yes, before you ask, it's just Noah. I know, I know, you expected something more. But there's something really cool about a name with just two syllables, right? It's like leaving a chapter on a cliffhanger, like waiting for the rollercoaster to go down that hill, except the tension just stays where it is."

Not many know what to expect from a guy like Noah. Seemingly extroverted and flirtatious, Noah is actually hesitant when it comes to talking to girls, even if he's attracted to them. He's more of a dreamer than a realist. His imagination takes up so much of his brain, ideas and colors and lyrics bouncing off the walls of his mind and echoing into his speech.

Around his peers, he's not afraid to let others know how smart he is - and that gets him into trouble a lot of the time

Around his peers, he's not afraid to let others know how smart he is - and that gets him into trouble a lot of the time. Arrogant and (to an extent) charming, Noah usually rubs people the wrong way, but he has his moments. He's the kind of guy you would whisper about between giggles, but never dare to approach. Generally, Noah tries to avoid one-on-one confrontation, unless it's necessary. Even still, he tries to rope in one of his friends.

In most situations, Noah is known to be domineering, passionate and even aggressive at times, but he deals with his anger by simply walking away

In most situations, Noah is known to be domineering, passionate and even aggressive at times, but he deals with his anger by simply walking away. While he can get angry often, he has an ultimate soft spot - ice pops on hot days at the beach. That is possibly the best way to defuse a Noah-bomb.

Noah spent a great deal of his childhood in a facility that cared for the children of convicts. Once his mother had completed her jail term, she pulled her son out of the system and struggled to find a job, finally managing to land a spot as a surfboard renter at the local beach.

Noah's good looks were something that couldn't be denied; the business started gaining popularity when Noah begun to help out after school, often with a novel in hand. Despite having many uncomfortable experiences with female clients, Noah held his tongue and knew that his meals and clothes depended on the profit they earned. Of course, things didn't last long this way. Within a year, the business was removed on the grounds of being illegally set up without a license, and his mother was arrested after subsequent investigations which revealed that the surfboards she was renting were all stolen from various other rental services. Noah was placed under the custody of his father, but when his stepmother began to advance on him, he turned to his aunt, a lawyer, for help. After succesfully winning the lawsuit against Noah's stepmother, she won custody of Noah. Through it all, books and plays have been Noah's constant.
