The Mystery Man Behind the Text Messages (The Mysterious Death of Hollis High)

        Since Sabrina and Katie shared a room, and was still sleeping when Sabrina went outside; that's where she checked first. She opened the door and there was blood splattered on the walls, their beds, and on the mirror. There was no sign of Katie. She looked in the closet and under the bed, Katie wasn't there. "Katie where are you?!" Sabrina yelled. Soon after, Sabrina seen a trail of blood. How bad was her sister hurt? Would Katie still be alive? 

        Sabrina followed the trail of blood, it led her to the bathroom door. By now, there were bigger puddles of blood. Is Katie the only one in there or is the person who shot the gun in there too? Sabrina reached for the doorknob and turned it slowly, it was locked. "Owen come quick, I need your help! The door is locked!"  Sabrina looked under the door through the tiny space between the floor and the door, no one was near the door. They decided to kick in the door, since they couldn't get it unlocked. 

        As soon as Owen seen what was behind the door and what the bathroom looked like, he fainted. Owen can tolerate the sight of blood, in small amounts; but after the amount he seen he lost it. Sabrina opened her eyes and seen all the blood. It was only Katie inside, Katie was laying inside the bathtub, covered from head to toe in blood. *Sabrina rushed over to her sister and checked her pulse* Katie's pulse was light and could hardly be detected. Knowing that her sister had lost a lot of blood from the gunshot to her torso, Sabrina grabbed her cell phone and dialed 911. One of the neighbors heard the gunshot a few minutes ago and rushed over to their house to see what had happened.

Sabrina: " My name is Sabrina, I live at 229 Hollis Hills, New York. There has been an accident and I need an ambulance as soon as possible."

911 Operator: "Okay, an ambulance is on it's way, what happened?"

Sabrina: "My sister Katie has been shot in the torso and has lost a lot of blood and her pulse is very faint. Please hurry!"

911 Operator: "Are you applying pressure to the wound?"

Sabrina: "Yes."

911 Operator: "The ambulance is near by, hold tight. Is she responding and conscious?"

Sabrina: "No she is not responding and her pulse is starting to fade."

911 Operator: "The ambulance is a block from your house, keep applying pressure to the wound."

                                        *WeeeeWoooooWeeeeWooooo......*

Sabrina: "Thank you, they are here, bye."

911 Operator: "Keep calm and take a deep breath, bye."

                                                        *Sabrina hung up.*

Paramedics: "Sabrina, where are you?"

Sabrina: "In here, in the bathroom. Hurry!"

Paramedics: "How did this happen and how long ago?"

Sabrina: "About 10 minutes ago. I was outside with my boyfriend when we heard the shot, we ran inside and seen Katie had been shot."

Paramedics: "Okay, we are going to take her to the hospital, do you want to ride with her?"

Sabrina: "Yes."

Paramedics: "Her pulse is fading pretty quick, so we have to hurry."

Sabrina: "Okay, let's go. Hold on a little bit longer sis, we are getting you help."

                                         *They arrived at the hospital a few minutes later.*

        They took Katie into surgery as soon as they arrived at the hospital, so they could remove the bullet. It had been 2 hours since Sabrina heard anything about her sister. Did they get the bullet out? Is Katie okay? Did something happen to Katie? Those thoughts continuously popped up inside her head, until the doctor came out. 

Doctor: "Sabrina, please come here."

Sabrina: *she walked over to the doctor, nervously.* "Is everything okay with Katie?!" 

Doctor: *sighed* "I'm afraid not, we have a problem." 

Sabrina: "What is it?!"

Doctor: "I have some bad news and good news."

Sabrina: "Don't just stand there, what is it?!"

Doctor: "Bad news-Your sister has lost a lot of blood. Good news-We took the bullet out of her torso."

Sabrina: "So what are you saying doctor?"

Doctor: "Your sister needs some blood donated."

Sabrina: "Give her some of my blood!"

Doctor: "I would, but you aren't a match. She has a rare blood type called O-."

Sabrina: "How long does she have if she doesn't get the blood she needs?"

Doctor: "48 Hours, tops."

Sabrina: "Isn't there anyone with O- blood?"

Doctor: "Since it is a rare blood type only 6.5% of the population have it. There is only a 7% chance of finding a compatible donor, who is willing to donate."

Sabrina: "Do we have any relatives with O- blood?"

Doctor: "Yes, only one, your cousin Rachel."

Sabrina: "Great.*she said sarcastically.* We haven't spoken in years, since the huge fight between our families."

Doctor: "She is your sister's only chance of surviving, you might want to give her a call and patch things up. Remember, you only have 48 hours, tops." 

Sabrina: "Thanks doctor." *She gets out her phone and dials her cousin's number* I hope she hasn't changed it." 

                                        *The phone stops ringing and someone picks up.*
