Secret Identities

2103. April, 27

It has been two months since I've became friends with the "Trichotomy" class. We basically do everything together. Today there was no classes, teachers had to go to a meeting all day to discuss what type of magic sequence tests there will be in the final term. As we await for their meetings to end, we have to stay at home and go back to school after the weekend.

I did the usual things I do at home. Nothing. Ha ha, that's not true. Jan had helped me put up my schedule for my meetings with my battalion. I was pretty much prepared to do anything while my family was doing their own affairs. Father was at a business meeting at the automation. Mother has flown somewhere else for a business trip. Glenn was at home working on lots of things to improve the automation ever since he came back two months ago. Grady was shooting arrows in the "Target Practice Room". I just sat there in my sequence enhancing room thinking of what I could do. I do need help on some enhancements in certain sequences right now. I used the "Velocity" sequence to speed up my footsteps as I accelerate towards Glenn's room.

I knock, Glenn's voice peels through the door, "Come in, Guinevere. I've been expecting you."

I unlock the door. "Hey, Glenn."

"What's up?"

"I want you to help me enhance my sequences and CADs further."

"The ones you created?"

"Yes."

"Alright."

He begins to type in numbers. Two minutes later, he's done, "Here you go lil' sis." He rubs my head.

"I'm not a kid anymore. Besides, you're only a year older than me."

"Ha ha, I know, but I just like to tease you." He smiles and laughs. "I have a favor to ask of you."

"Mhm, what is it that you need?"

"I need you to test out the recent sequences that I have created."

"Sure."

He hands me a CAD containing the sequence. "Guinevere, I think you might like this one. It's rated Rank SS as well. I've finally have been able to develop the "Aerial" sequence. This sequence allows you to activate "Flying" magic."

I activate it. He starts to ask me questions.

"So, Guinevere, is the activation sequence for it running smoothly?"

"Yes. I have a liking to it."

"That's good, now can you ascend up for me?"

"Yes." I ascend up. "Wow, it's like I'm actually flying. It's like the "Glide" sequence but in the air. Are you going to disclose the sequence so others will know about it?"

"No, I want you to when you get the chance."

"But-" He cuts me off for a moment with a sigh. "But you created it, I can't possibly take credit for it! Besides, I already have my own sequences that I have created on my own already!"

"Guinevere, it's alright. I want you to unmask this sequence. I don't want my secret identity further exposed. Since I'll be the next heir for the automation, people cannot know this much about me just yet or it will cause major problems."

"I see." Of course Glenn doesn't want his identity as "Silver" to be exposed.

"So, I want you to take it and use it, alright!?"

"Yes brother."

"Good."

I leave his room in shock like I always do. Thank you Glenn. Sometimes I wonder, how did he ever come up with these type of sequences? But, seriously, I would truly never want to challenge him in a battle, that's for sure.
