Xenia Ruth Santiago has always been annoyed with Lessley Rav Alvarado ever since they met. Unfortunately, no matter how much she hates seeing him with his smirk, she cannot easily avoid him as he is the older brother of her best friend, Irish Rae Alvarado. She and Irish have been best friends since their elementary days. As time passes by, the hatred she feels towards Lessley slowly but surely blooms into something she has never felt before. Other girls might hide it, but Ruth handled her feelings differently. And Lessley also handled the situation differently.

She confessed to him. He pushed her away. She got scorned and hurt. He went away. She moved on with her life. He became successful.

And yet, as Ruth pursues her dream of becoming a writer, he came back. And caused the hell to break loose again.
