Esme's POV

" I mean seriously?! Why is he even here? I though he was too ' famous ' for us now so why turn up now? And with your whole fucking band too; he's just so... UGH" I rant, flopping back onto my childhood bed.

"Esme just think of the positives! You're seeing your parents after how many years; plus I bet he'll be leaving soon for some sort of music thing" Angeles said, trying to calm me down.

" I hate to interrupt, but did Jonah look like his usually snack self" Lyell gushed as I slapped my forehead.

"Lyell love for one minute can we not concentrate on Jonah? Please?" I beg, pacing up and down my room; looking out of the window, the party still in full swing.

" You're gonna have to go out there at some point" Ava sighed.

" Yeah Esme!! Show him what he's missing" Nande preached.

" Amen to that" Jez screamed down the mic out of nowhere.

" You know what you're right, I'm gonna do it! I'll snap you if anything happens. Ciao ciao my loves!" I hollered at my best friends. I'm so thankful for them honestly.

Skipping down the stairs I exited through the patio doors towards the food table only to be grabbed by my mother.

" Oh Esme there you are! Come, there's someone I want you to see" she grinned pulling me through the crowds, waving at her guests along the way.

" Hunny you remember the Seavey's don't you?" My mother questioned me.

" oh how could I forget?" My British accent prominent as I spoke; " I don't forget, unlike some people" I say pettily, looking at my feet.

" Well erm, this is Daniels band; we have Zach, Jack, Jonah, Corbyn and of course you know Daniel." My mum spoke up again, obviously knocked back by my attitude.

" Actually I can't say I've met a Daniel from a band before; oh no I met a Daniel Seavey once, yes he was an absolute dick who forgot about his best friend once he auditioned for American Idol but I do suppose he wouldn't have the nerve to show his face at MY family home after everything, so therefore nice to meet you Daniel from a band" I spat, Daniels eyes widening in horror.

" Esme I'm so sorry I -"
