Eddie didn't go to school today. He felt tired an he had a bad headache, so his mom let him stay home while she went to work. Having such a bad headache was making Eddie itch to be little, which was his normal way of coping with hard shit. He tried to fight it at first, but eventually he let himself slip. He grabbed his stuffie off of his bed and a diaper out of his closet, which he tried his hardest to put on, but it ended up tearing and hanging weird, meaning that if he peed it'd get on the floor, but he was too little to notice. He played around for a little bit, but he eventually grew tired and decided to go to sleep.
Meanwhile Richie was wondering where in the hell his best friend was. He hadn't been at school that day, and Richie was worried sick. When the bell rang for school to end, Richie raced to the Kaspbrak household, noticing that Sonia was still at work, meaning Eddie was home alone. Richie hoped he was okay. He reached into his pocket and fished out the extra key that Eddie had made for him in case of an emergency, opening the door and letting himself inside. He didn't see Eddie anywhere downstairs, so he marched his way upstairs and into Eddie's room, where he found the small boy asleep, blankets engulfing his small frame. Richie smiled slightly, glad that Eds was okay. He walked over to the bed and went to pull down the covers to see Eddie's face. The boy had his thumb in his mouth, a habit Richie thought was adorable. Whenever Eddie was nervous, he'd suck his thumb. That's how Richie knew when Eddie needed comforting. He went to lift the small boy up, only to be met with a soaked bed and a poorly diapered boy. Richie's eyes widened in shock. He had never known Eddie to have accidents, and he'd stayed over many nights at the Kaspbrak's. That's when he noticed a paci on the side table and a small pink blankie beside Eddie's pillow. Richie then realized that Eddie must've chosen to do this. He smiled a little before picking the boy up and taking off the bedsheets, quickly walking down stairs with the sleeping baby to throw the wet sheets in the wash. He then pulled some clean sheets out of Eddie's closet, noticing the opened pack of princess diapers on the ground. He picked one up and layed Eddie on the bed, gently changing his diaper and laying him back down. He placed a paci in the boy's mouth, which the little immediately began sucking on, and he searched Eddie's closet for a baby bottle and formula.
Luckily Eddie had both, so Richie picked them up and went down to the kitchen so that Eddie would have a bottle prepared when he woke up.
After Richie had finished making the bottle, he heard the phone ring.
"Hello?"
"Hello, Richie, sweetheart, is that you?"
"Yes, Ms. Kaspbrak, it's me. Eddie's asleep right now."
"Oh, okay. Well, when he wakes up, will you tell him that I won't be home this week? And unexpected business trip came up, and I'm afraid I won't be home tonight to tell him myself. My flight leaves in an hour, and I've alreddie got a bag packed here at the office."
"Yes ma'am, I'll tell him. I'll stay with him this week, too, if you don't mind. I know he gets anxious easily, and the second he hears that his mommy's gone, he's probably gonna cry."
"Yes, I would love if you were there for him. I know he misses me when I'm gone, but I can't help it I'm afraid. Tell him Mommy loves him and she'll be home soon."
"Will do, Ms. K."
"Thank you, Richie. Bye now."
"Bye."
Richie put the phone up, hearing stirs and little whimpers coming from upstairs. Before he knew it, his sweet little Eds came padding into the kitchen, an innocent and confused expression on his face. He didn't notice Richie at first, he just went about his business, giggling adorably to himself. Richie chuckled, making the angel turn on his heels suddenly. He eyes widened in fear and embarrassment, and he began to uncontrollably wet his diaper because of how scared his was. The warm liquid made a pool by his feet. He began to bawl. He was so embarrassed, and fully big now. Richie was never supposed to know. He must've been the one to change him when he was asleep. It all made sense. His paci had yet to leave his mouth, but cries and tears fell out of him nonetheless. Richie ran over to the baby, lifting him up and placing him on his hip, giving the boy soothing words and kissing his forehead between sentences.
"Hey, hey, baby it's okay, it's okay. I'm here. I know you're surprised to see me, but I'm here. You're okay."
Eddie hid his face in Richie's chest, sucking his paci for comfort, despite the fact that he was big.
"Hey, baby boy, don't be shy, it's just me. It's just me. You can be yourself around me, little baby."
Eddie looked up at him hopefully, sucking his paci gently and wetting his diaper accidently. He wiggled a but to get comfortable, but the wiggling only made him go more. He sighed in frustration before just letting all the pee go.
"That's a good boy. You're so good, I'm so proud of you, baby. So proud. So little."
Eddie flushed in embarrassment, the praise and softness wasn't something the baby was used to. He expected Richie to make fun of him.
"I have a bottle ready for you, little baby. Why don't we go and get it for you, okay, angel? Then we'll go and change your little diaper again. You have a full little bladder, don't you, angel?"
Eddie blushed, wetting himself a little more. The praise and the baby-like attention was causing him to have major accidents. He began grunting a bit, giving Richie a sure sign that he needed to go poop.
"Does my baby need to go poo poo?"
Eddie nodded, not even bothering to tell Richie that he was a big boy currently.
"Aw, well you keep trying to go while you drink this baby bottle, okay?"
Richie brought the bottle to the baby's mouth, who immediately began sucking it, the warm baby formula tasting amazing to him. He couldn't finish a full bottle, but he got about half way done. Richie then took him to change his diaper, which he had finally pooped in.
"Chee?"
"Yes, baby?"
"I'm not in little space. I'm big. I have been this whole time."
"Princess, if this is you being big, then Daddy needs to be here all the time."
"Daddy?"
"Yes. That's what you will address me as from now on, okay baby? Even in school and in public. Do you understand?"
"Yes, Dada. Um, where is my Mommy? She's normally here by now."
"Aw, baby, Dada's sorry, but Mommy's gone on an emergency business trip for the week. She called me. But Daddy will be here."
Eddie began to cry. He always cried when his Mommy was gone.
"B-but I need m-mommy!" He wailed, slipping into his little space.
"Aw, someone's little bitty. Here."
He placed a pink pacifier into the baby's mouth. Eddie stopped crying, instead he just wet himself, the babyish act being a huge comfort to the hurting boy. He fell asleep in Richie's arms, and Richie was so glad that he found the little baby asleep and wet earlier that day.
Should I do a part 2 where they are at school?
