Confused

Chapter 1

This is set after the recent episode in Riverdale (season 2 episode 17) for me and everything is now fine, Betty officially joined the serpents and Alice (betty's mom) rejoined, they only joined a day before Jughead breaks up with Betty though. In this story Betty, Toni ,Archie, Veronica and Kevin are 16 and Jughead, Sweet Pea, Cheryl and Fangs are 17.

Betty sat on her bed in her room ,that had plain white walls, wrapped up in a cocoon type of shape with her light pink fluffy blanket. She sat there watching netflix and eating ice cream with pouty lips, red eyes and her eyebrows pulled together in the same frown that had been on her face since she woke up. Pretty cliché for a break up, am I right or am I right?

She found that all this was helping though, not only was the netflix keeping her mind off of...certain things, she got to catch up all the shows she had fallen behind on. The overly fluffy blanket kept the blonde equal parts warm and cozy, and as for the ice cream...the only answer Betty would be able to give you is: it's delicious.

As Betty sat there watching one of her favourite shows, 'Grace and Frankie' she started reminiscing about all the times she and Veronica had together. The blonde really missed having the raven haired girl to talk to but Veronica lied to her. She lied straight to Betty's (and everyone else's faces) and that's just something Betty can't forgive.

But not only did Veronica lie to her, no her "bestfriend" Archie Andrews stood there and lied to her without a second thought, and that's what hurt the most. She and Archie had been friends for years, years and he threw all of those years of friendship and trust out the window without a second glance.

Betty huffed as she realised her plan of watching netflix to get her mind off of everyone just completely backfired on her. With a bit of wriggling about the blonde managed to escape her 'cocoon', nearly falling off the bed, but still escaping.

As soon as her feet hit the ground and she stood up she listed her arms high above her head and arched her back a little, smiling when she felt the satisfying click of her bones. She caught her reflection in the corner of her eye and turned fully so she could see just how bad she looked right then, the bed head, puffy eyes that had bags under them and pouty lips made the blonde groan in annoyance.

Sure Jughead breaking up with her before hurt, but...nothing like this. She was, is, truly and utterly in love with the boy that always wears his beanie.

As Betty was enveloped by thoughts of her ex she failed to hear the quiet knock at her door, but was pulled out of her thoughts when a louder one followed the quiet one.

Betty blinked in confusion at the thought of whoever was on the other side of the door, her mom was out doing god knows what, Polly and the twins are still at the farm and Chic was made to move out a week or two ago.

"Betty it's me" a slightly muffled voice floated into the room that was unmistakably Kevin's. At that a smile was brought to her face as she realised she still had Kevin and she hopefully would forever.

"Come in Kev"

"Your mom called and said you might want someone to talk to" he said as both he and Betty flopped down onto her soft and comfortable bed.

"Yeah...Jughead broke up for me, for real this time" Betty's voice grew quiet as her eyes looked down and her frown made its way back onto her face.

"Oh Betty..." Kevin enveloped her in a hug making her mood slightly better, as she always loved hugs off of the taller boy. "What happened?" Ah, there it is, the question she dreads.
