*This part is a continuation of That Morning in part 3.
It was now morning and I was laying on the floor of Colby Andrews beach house. My head was pounding from the night before, I had abandoned the value I had once held so near and dear to me. I saw this as my consequence. Why couldn't I just of stopped at one? Was I trying to suppress the disappointment I felt in myself?
Whatever the reason was, was it really worth it?
After I had got myself use to the trashed surrounding I noticed that I wasn't the only one laying on the floor. I was laying on someone's arm...
Scared of what I was about to face, I turned my head around.
Low and behold as I turned around I was face to face with Milo Carter.
Not only that but he was shirtless. I was in complete shock.
WHAT EXACTLY DID I DO LAST NIGHT?
But the real question was...
WHAT EXACTLY DID WE DO LAST NIGHT?"Calm down Bea there has to be a logical explanation to this!" I said mentally, but then I looked down at myself to see that I was fully clothed.
Did I really just work myself up over nothing? I was so embarrassed. Why would he even want to try something with me anyway?
Milo then shifts next to me waking up, most likely from the movement of my unnecessary panic attack.
"Good morning Bea." He said in a deep raspy voice.
I WANTED TO MELT RIGHT THEN AND THERE!
After an awkward minute, I finally got the guts to say "Morning" meekly.
He gave me the cutest smile ever.
"What exactly happened last night?" I say worried about the answer.
"We danced, drank and talked until we passed out."
"Someone also got a little bold as well." He said with his well-known smirk.
If I wasn't already blushing from our current position I was now.
"Tell me!" I said mortified.
"Hey your a little too loud for someone with a hangover, and never." He said with a smirk once again.
Trying to change the subject I asked: "where's Safia".
"I saw her and Colby go into his room last night."
I couldn't believe it.
I walked around the trashed house while occasionally hoping over passed out people looking for my delusional friend.
I rushed into the room to find Finley and Colby in the bed instead.
"Enjoying the view you perv!" Finley yelled trying to cover herself.
Me thinking it was a brilliant idea, I played it off as if I had come in to ask for aspirin.
"There should be some in the cabinet in the bathroom," Colby said as if he could care less about what I just walked in on.
"Thanks!" I yelled as I fled the scene as fast as I could.
"Found her," Milo shouted across the house.
I ran to where I heard his voice and there behold was Safia laying in the tub. Milo helped me get her out as fast as we could. I called an uber and me and Safia were out as fast as we came.
While in the uber I engaged in conversation with my groggy friend.
In return, I received half answers, which was fair enough considering our current states but she seemed to be taking it harder than I was.
"What exactly happened last night? Did I do anything weird?" I asked.
"Girl I can't even tell you, but I do know you and Milo were getting very close." She said as she attempted to wink, then she crashed her head into my lap for the remainder of the ride.
From that point on I knew something happened and I was happy that I didn't remember because I would probably have died from embarrassment.
We spent the rest of that Saturday recuperating from our crazy night. Safia stayed over with the fear of her parents finding out she was drunk.
The party honestly brought out the worst in me but the result was a night that I would never forget. Even though I could only remember certain parts of it, I was okay. As much as I didn't want to admit, I truly enjoyed it but deep down I was feeling the consequences of that one choice on the beach. The one drink that started it all.
