A baby girl with gorgeous black hair and sparkling blue eyes was left at the doorstep to a dark, unkept castle, which inhabited a former queen and her daughter. The young, two year old daughter of the former queen had heard the baby's crying and went outside to see what it was. The two year old saw the baby, picked it up and ran inside out of the cold air.
Then, the daughter ran upstairs to her mother's bedroom, where the former queen was doing her make up.
"Mummy, look what I found!" the young girl passed her mother the bundle of blankets which held the baby girl.
"Darling, where did you find this?" the mother asked, in an angry tone. The daughter was scared whenever her mother acted like this.
"I-It was outside, Mummy. I heard it crying from my bedroom. Please, Mummy. Can we keep it?"
The former queen sighed at her daughter. "Yes, Evie. She can stay, but as long as she doesn't cause any good. Understood?"
"Yes, Mummy." Little did the young girl, Evie, know that the baby she had found, would become her best friend and sister for life. And this is where our story begins...
Fourteen years later...
Clarissa and Evie dashed through the market place, stealing rotten fruit as they passed each stall.
"Get back here, Clarissa and Evie!" One of the stall keepers, Captain Hook (a former pirate), yelled at the two girls. Clarissa turned around, grabbed her bow and an arrow, aimed for Captain Hook's hat, and released. The arrow hit the hat, just as planned.
Clarissa and Evie laughed as they did parkour onto the rooftop, the destination where they were meant to meet Jay, one of their crew members.
"Why, hello, ladies." Jay bowed to the sisters. Clarissa hit him across the head.
"You're an idiot, Jay. You know that, right?" Clarissa rolled her eyes. Evie smirked at Clarissa. Evie usually teased Clarissa by the way she interacted with Jay. Clarissa noticed the smirk on her sister's face. "I hate you, Evie. I really do."
