15 & pregnant

Chapter 14

1 month later...

I didn't have school today because I had to go and get my 12 week scan. It was 11 o clock and my mum is taking me, we have to leave now because I have to have my scan at 11:20 and it's a 10 minute drive. My doctor is called Shelley, she's really nice, she has hazel eyes and nice long blonde hair. She is also Scarlett's cousin!

When we got to the hospital my mum went and signed me in, I went and sat in the waiting area until she came back.

"Nervous dear?" my mum asked.

"Yes just a bit, what if she's surprised at my age?"

"Scarlett told her how old you are, so don't you worry." I looked at a few ladies that had big tummies, will I have a big bump to?

"Lola Webb?" Shelley called out. I stood up and followed Shelley to the scanning room, she sat down in her chair as my mums shut the door. "So Lola, how many months are you?"

"I'm 3 months."

"Okay Lola can you please lie down on this bed for me?"

"Yes of course." I walked over to the bed and led down, Shelley pulled my top up to show my belly and put some warm jelly onto my belly.

"Ok just relax for me, have you had any hormones or anything at all?"

"No not yet, well actually I keep getting scared about what's going to happen."

"It's a natural thing. How many kids have you got miss Webb?"

"I have 2 Jake and Lola, They are twins" We heard a little beat from the monitor

"Is that my baby's heart beat?"

"It sure is Lola! And you can slightly see the body parts." Shelley told me.

"When do I find out what I'm having?" I was really excited! I wanted to know now!

"Not yet." Shelley started laughing. "In 2 months you can find out."

"I can't wait that long!"

"Yes you can dear, I had to wait until I was 5 months pregnant, everybody has to unless they pay loads of money to find out early." my mum started explaining to me. After I got my slip for my next appointment I got my scan pictures. My baby is going to be the best baby ever! I have never believed in abortions because your killing a human that's only small, so I'm glad I'm keeping it.

When we got home I only had 2 hours to do what I wanted because school would be over. I was bored, all I was doing was playing games on my iphone, watching tv and eating, which wasn't very fun.

1 hour left then they are all home! I decided to put on a movie, let me explain why I was on my own: everyone was at school and my mum is upstairs taking a nap. She's been asleep an awful lot lately and my doctor seems to know my mum very well which is weird because she's only a midwife. And she wears baggy clothes a lot which is very... Oh my god! Is she pregnant!!
