After meeting with the boss for a few days, I finally got the job at FoodieJudie, that fastfood place. I would be working at the register everyday except for tuesday and friday, and i got paid a $50 day.
My first shift was today, from 9 am to 4:30. I needed this job that paid me to help support me and my baby. I slipped on my working outfit, and took Kayla to the daycare. Then I started walking to FoodieJudie, when I hear some footsteps behind me.
"Maria?" I heard that husky voice ask me. I smiled to myself, and without turning around I said "Hi Jason." He fell into step beside me as we walked to work. "How are you?" Jason asked, running his hand through the gorgeous mop of blonde hair that lay on his head.
I grinned. "Im good. I got a job at FoodieJudy, so yeah," I said. He looked down at me, from his 6'2 height. "Thats awesome! Its not often that i get to work with beautiful women like yourself," Jason said as we arrived to our destination. "Uh, thanks," I replied walking in. "I-I guess I'll talk to you later!" I mumbled, and hurried away.
What the hell was the matter with me? This was the second chance i had gotten to speak with that hottie, and all i could do was mumble?!?! Next time, id have to do better, but now it was time for work.
