Perseus Jackson jumped right into the fray, he knew that he wouldn't be getting out of this fight without a couple of scratches. He stood back to back with his wife, Annabeth Chase. Her hand scrambled to find his and gave it a tight squeeze before she let go, this was her way of saying, don't get yourself killed idiot.
He had no problem keeping up with that request, he wanted to see another day where his unborn child would be here.

Piper McLean watched as Percy jumped into the fight with Annabeth. She sighed to herself and dragged her husband, Jason, out of where they had been having a romantic dinner with the other couple.
" J, come on! Monsters are out and I think they are gonna need some help. "
Piper looked towards the monster that the pair were fighting, a hydra and drakon were forming.
" See Piper, this is what happens when you get a son of Poseidon and Jupiter together. Two fuck off powerful monsters ... not that I blame you. We all have the scent I guess. "
Jason let himself he dragged into the fray, where Percy and Annabeth were fighting the drakon head on. Percy had gone for the face where Annabeth was watching and calculating the drakons fighting style.

One half of the four had no idea that Annabeth was 4 months pregnant. Percy and Annabeth were planning on telling them tonight. Nobody knew except for Will, Nico and Sally. Will because he was the one to give Annabeth the check up when she started vomiting in the mornings, Nico because he also senses life as well as death so he was the first one to know whatsoever and Sally because she guessed when the couple first walked through her door 3 months ago.
While she was studying the drakons technique the hydra managed to tail swipe her to the ground, her reflexes were slower than what they should have been and she landed stomach first on the road. She cried out in pain, clutching her baby bump. The cries attracted the attention of both the drakon and the hydra, both turning towards her and away from their attackers.
Percy had also turned at the sound and her yelled in rage at the sight he saw, his Annabeth, her arms wrapped around her torso crying out in pain. He went to move toward her but the drakon had cut him off, he ducked under the stomach of the drakon and raced toward his wife. Before he got there the hydra had tail swiped her again, its tail lashed across her arms that were holding herself.
That was all the unborn child could take, its heart stopped beating and its underdeveloped body started to shut down. Annabeth knew it as soon as the cramps started to come, one by one. She cried, the tears dripping onto her arms and mixing with the blood of her cuts.
Percy watched in horror as Annabeth went limp and pure, undiluted rage filled his body at the sight of it. He looked up at the scaled body of the drakon and remembered his time in the pit. He could control anything that was liquid, he looked toward the hydra that Piper and Jason were battling they were losing badly. They had already cut off two if the heads and fried the stumps with lightning.
Percy concentrated on the hydra and all the water within it. He could sense each heart beat, every breath that it took, he focused on what spread the blood to the body. The heart. He held out his hand and pulled the water in the heart to him. A ripping sound came from inside the hydra and its heart came ripping out of its chest and out through the back of it, right into Percy's hand.
Jason and Piper watched the light leave the other heads eyes and it collapsed, leaving then with a clear view of Percy with a heart in his hand.
Percy dropped the heart and ran out from under the drakon, he screamed at it in rage. He dropped into a crouch as the drakon snapped at him, he shoved Riptide into its eye before letting it go and rolling away. The drakon staggered in pain, stepping on Percy's leg as he got up from his roll. The drakons claws dug into Percy's abdomen, he roared in pain and his hands clutched at the claws.
Piper stopped mid run as Percy held up his hand to stop her, the drakon lifted its foot. Licking its claw, it looked down at Percy who was digging up the last dregs of his powers. The drakon deemed him useless and started for Piper, who bared her teeth and backed up to Jason. Percy held up his hand once more as his lifeblood spilled across the concrete, he focused on the drakons spine.
Go big or go home.
He knew that once the spine was taken out the drakon would drop like a sack of potatoes and he would be squished to death, he was already half dead anyway. He concentrated harder, he could hear the cracking of the spine and he could hear the monster whimper in pain. A wet ripping sound could be heard from the drakon, a bone went flying out before the drakon collapsed. The bone then split into little bones and scattered across the road. As the head of the drakon plummeted towards Percy he felt Riptide appear in his pocket, with the last of his strength he pulled it out and ripped off the cap.
The drakons head landed on a celestial bronze sword, it died and turned to dust.
Percy drew his final breath looking towards his wife, they had known each other for 18 years and had been married for 10. Before his eyes glazed he shed a tear for the lost life that he could have had with his Annabeth.

Percy recognized the place where he was when he opened up his eyes, he had come here when he was 12 to barter for his mother. His mother, dear gods she had already heard the news of Percy's death.

There was a knock on the door at the Blofis-Jackson household,
" Give me a minute please ", Paul Blofis said as he walked towards the door. He looked through the peep hole and saw Poseidon standing in the hall wearing a black button up and black jeans. Paul put his hand to his mouth in horror, he opened up the door and ushered him inside.
" Sally! Poseidon is here! ", he called out to his wife. She walked down the stairs and saw Poseidon in all black and tripped down the stairs . She shook her head in denial,
" No "

Without the spine, it flopped I stabbed it through the head with my sword "
