A man was sitting outside of a café, next to the table my mother and i were sitting on. I noticed after a while that the man was mumbling words at the people walking past.

"Spider." He said as a little girl went past.
"Ant" he said to a woman
"Deer." He said to a man wearing camo clothes
'What is he doing?' I thought to myself

"Flower." He said to another little girl
"Human." He said to an old grumpy man.

Finally we finished our coffee and my mother walked past him to give our mugs back to the shop.

"Bird." He said to her

"Excuse me?" She said to him

"Bird."

"What do you mean, bird?" I said standing up "Why do you keep calling people names? "

"I can tell what the last thing someone killed. Bird." He replied

"But i didn't..." my mum trailed of,  clearly thinking

"Mum, you did. You did kill a bird!" I whispered to her

On the way up here. It hit her windshield. I thought.

"That's weird. Come on Ashley. Let's go." My mum said glaring at the man as she walked of

It wasn't until later that i found that extremely creepy.

WHY??
