Chapter 2

Hi guys! Have you noticed that Charlette is the main character of my other book, A Night At the Movies? Tell me what you think of the combo! Now, on to the story.

As I was going to leave, Niall came rushing in and sat down at the table. “Sorry I’m late. I got mobbed by fans” he huffed.

“It’s alright. I just thought that you stood me up” I said and sipped my cocoa.

“How could I stand up a beautiful girl like you? And by the way, I love what you’re wearing today”

“Thanks, my friend picked the outfit out for me” I said. I felt my cheeks redden.

“Soo, what do you want to talk about?”

“I have no clue”

“Well, let me get some tea, and we can think of something” He walked away and got his tea. When he came back he sat down and sipped. “Needs sugar!” he announced, “Can you pass the sugar?”

“Here you go!” I said, I handed him the sugar, but during the pass, the sugar dropped. Making half of the sugar spill over the table. I blushed and looked at the sugar. It looked like fireworks. “Hey Niall, the sugar looks like fireworks” I said and pointed at it.

“It does!” he said while pouring some into his cup. He sipped on it and smiled. Obviously liking it.

“Hey, let’s make a seen, then post the masterpiece on twitter!” I suggested. Niall agreed and we started adding more fireworks. Once we were done that, we added people watching them at the bottom. It was beautiful. I snapped a picture and posted it on twitter. “Done!” while we were drinking our drinks, I heard in the background a car passing with their radio blaring. It was the song Eyes Open, one of my favourites. I started humming with the song and Niall joined in. Our hums harmonized as we hummed, then we stopped when we finished the song.

“So Julia, do you play any instruments?” he asked me.

“I play guitar and piano. But I’m better at guitar” I answered and drank the last of my delicious hot cocoa.

“Well, how about on our next date, we play some tunes together?”

“Sure! So are you confirming that there will be another date?

“Yep!” he said and drank the last of his tea too, he placed his cup down and stood up. We walked out the door and he led me to my car. “Well, thank you for this wonderful date”

“No problem. It was, after all, with a lovely lady” I blushed and unlocked my car. “Bye!” I said bubbly but before I could get in the car, Niall pecked my lips sweetly then let me sit. I smiled at him and waved my goodbye and drove home.

I had to tell Charlette about my day.
