Chapter 18:Part 2

Sam's POV

I always love to explore abandoned buildings with Colby, he just makes feel safe.

"What are we exploring?" I asked.
"An abandoned insane asylum." Colby replied, handing me a flashlight.
"Colby, these are always the scariest." I said.
"You have me. You'll be fine I swear. It's not night, so we're fine." He said. "Speaking of night, that's when we should do it."
"Oh no no no." I said.
"Oh yeah." Colby says, and sprints towards the car.
"Gosh dang it Colby!" I yell, and start running after him.

"Doing it at night is more fun and scarier." Colby said, bent over trying to catch his breath.
"True." I said, also breathing in a ton of air cause I lost it all while running. (See, that's why I hate running, it's the worst. Except when you're being chased or something like that. I'll go now)

So, outside. Where this asylum is located, it's more of a deserty feild. There is very few tumble weeds, and it's really hot.

(Damn it. I'm running out of cute ideas)

"Why are we back home?" I asked, as Colby pulled up into the driveway of the mansion.
"Because, I'm lazy." He said.
"Says the one who sprinted all the way to the car back there." I said laughing.
"Oh shut it." He smiled, and we both got out of the car.

We walked in and there was rose petals all over the floor leading to the couch in the living room. "What's all this?" I asked.
"Oh, we're just watching a movie together." He said, and held my hand as we walked over to the couch.

"What movie?" I asked, flopping myself onto the couch.
"Whatever we decide on."
"Shrek?"
"Yes. Yes. Yeeeees." Colby laughed, and held up the remote and did all the things to get Shrek on.
"Oooh. Which one?" He asked me.
"The 2nd one. It's the best." (It really is)
"Ha ok."

I savored this moment of us being together. His muscular arms around my shoulders. Me, laying my head on his shoulder. Our hands intertwined.

I savored it because I knew I'd do something to mess it all up.

And that's exactly what I did.
