Dear Rose,

I should have known that I can't hide anything from you, am I'm glad that Daesung and Seunghyun are keeping you company since I can't be there. I can always count on them.

I look at the flowers and roses at our base everyday and they just remind me of the lovely wife I had to leave behind. How dare the roses share the same name as you.

I'm so upset with myself. I wish that I hadn't left you with a child. We should have waited until after my military service to have the baby. Now, I won't be there when she's born. I'll have to miss her first words and her first steps. Poor Sori won't see her dad for a year.

But, on the plus side, I'm glad you're eating well. It's good for you and the baby. I can't wait to see your artwork. I'm sure you're getting better at it. Don't be like Van Gogh, I love your ears just the way they are.

I love everything about you. Which is why I married you.

I wish I was there to hold you and be beside you. I'm sorry that you feel lonely, but I'll be back by your side before you even know it.
