3rd Person Point of View

As the days, weeks and months passed by, everyone found themselves celebrating Evelyn's half birthday. To Zayn, she is growing up too quickly and finds himself distraught at the fact that she will be one in just six more months.

The date is August 7th, 2014, six months after Evelyn was born. The boys (and girls) got a break from tour for a three weeks. They all went their separate ways, but have decided to all come to Bradford to celebrate Evelyn's big day.

Louis is now dating Victoria and everyone knows they will be the power couple. Louis is always taking her on spontaneous dates here and there and whenever you look at them, you can see in their faces of how in love they are with each other. Louis and Victoria are the first to arrive at Zayn's parents' house where the party will be held. Louis quickly scooped Evelyn out of Zayn's arms and started attacking her with kisses.

"I can't believe you're six months!" Louis screams loudly, making Evelyn giggle. Evelyn reached forward and wrapped her arms as far as the could around Louis, Evelyn loves to hug.

Louis and Victoria take Evelyn into the living room while Zayn answers the door for guests. He is only really waiting and wanting one person to walk through that front door.

He answers the door when it rings. Harry.

Harry is talking to someone on the phone while holding a poorly wrapped present. Zayn gestures to the living room, Harry giving him a quick half hug and jogging off to the living room.

Zayn continuously opens the door, but gets a little bit sadder when it isn't her.

Everyone is here now, except her.

The doorbell finally rings and Zayn quickly opens the door, it's her.

Florence Anne Gardenia.

Zayn's Point of View

"Florence!" I exclaim, wrapping Florence into a hug. Florence laughs, but squeezes me back. I've missed her so much.

"It's only been a week Zayn," she says, hooking arms with me as we walked into the living room to be greeted by all of our friends. Cora jumped off of Niall's lap while Victoria got up from the floor and tackled Florence to the ground.

"Florence!" they both screamed at the same time. I stalked away, letting them have their girl moment. I decided to go play with my daughter who was playing with her legos. Well, teething on a Lego, but still.

She is sat in Louis' lap while she chews away. I walked over to her and picked her up so she was on my hip.

"I say we open presents!" my mum exclaimed from the couch. Everyone obliged so we all got into a big circle on the floor, Evelyn in my lap.

"My gift first," Liam said raising the bag into the air.

"No! Mine first!" Louis exclaimed.

"I think the saying is ladies first guys," Victoria sassed.

"How about we set Evelyn in the center and she crawls to the gift she wants?" Florence suggested.

"Great idea," Harry calmly said. I stood up and set Evelyn into a crawling position. She literally just started crawling, so she is still a little bit wobbly.

Everyone started shouting things to get Evelyn to crawl to them.

"Who gave you the Lego? Who gave you that Lego Evelyn?" Louis shouted. Lego seemed to get Evelyn's attention and she crawled as quickly as possible over to Louis. Louis raised his hands up in the air and laughed.

"Sweet success!" he yelled as Evelyn reached him. Louis picked her up and set her on his lap. He set the wrapped gift in front of her and she kind of just stared at it.

"I don't think she gets the concept of tearing the shit out of it," Niall stated. Cora slapped his arm, probably because he cursed and Louis laughed lightly. Louis tore a little piece off of the gift and Evelyn still stared at it.

"Just, do this," Louis said tearing most of the wrapping off of it. Evelyn just started babbling and hitting Louis hands. Louis reached forward and quickly tore all of the wrapping off of it.

"Yay!" Louis drug out the yay while he clapped. I laughed and so did everyone else. It's a box.

"Is it just an empty box?" my sister, Doniya, asked. Louis nodded with a smug smile and Evelyn started hitting the box.

Louis set her back in the crawling position and she crawled to Florence next. Florence lifted her up and kissed her cheeks. Evelyn set her head on Florence's shoulder and started going "awe." Evelyn is only six months, but I know when she goes "awe," it means she loves you.

"I didn't wrap you present baby, but you get to wear it," Florence said, taking Evelyn's chubby arm. She put a cute elephant bracelet around her wrist and Evelyn clapped as best as she could.

Smart baby.

Evelyn made her way around. A cute outfit from aunt Cora, new legos from uncle Liam, a stuffed kitty from uncle Harry, a barbie from uncle Niall, shoes from aunt Victoria, basically a new wardrobe from my family, and finally me.

"Come here baby girl," I said lifting her onto my lap. I pulled out a small wrapped gift from a box, it might not mean much to her now, but maybe when she is older and understands more.

I tore off the wrapping paper and opened the box for her. Inside a picture of her mum holding her for the split second that the doctors revived her mum. Evelyn was wrapped in a pink blanket, her dark brown tufts of hair stuck to her head. Her mum smiling weakly down a her daughter as nurses crowded around.

Evelyn took the picture from my hand and eyed it closely. I set her off my lap and into the crawling position where she slowly crawled to the center and put the picture there with all of her other presents.

After that we wen into the kitchen where Evelyn had a smash cake and the rest of us took loads of pictures. We all posted loads of pictures to our twitter and my mum took a ton on her professional camera.

Soon it was nine o'clock, I knew Evelyn needed to be back home to go to sleep. I bought a decently sized house in London for us, knowing we needed our own space.

As I got Evelyn's coat on Florence came over to me and tapped my shoulder. I turned around and she smiled, showing me Evelyn's bag of presents. I quickly strapped Evelyn into her car seat and stood up, taking the bag from Florence.

"I have a quick question," Florence said, scratching her head. One more thing about Florence, her memory quickly returned after the surgery, so she remembers everything about... us.

"Y-Yeah?" I stuttered, fuck.

"Could I possibly stay at yours for the remainder of the week? I forgot to book a hotel room and-"

"Say no more, you're always welcome," I said. She thanked me and I just smiled, I'm so happy right now.

I said goodbye to all of the boys' and we planned this Thursday to hang out at my house. I picked up Evelyn's car seat where she slept and picked up her bag of presents, walking out to my car with Florence, who grabbed her bag from the front porch.

I strapped Evelyn's car seat into the back seat and got into the drivers seat with Florence in the passenger seat.

I drove off to my house, thinking that my relationship with Florence could be patched.
