Chapter five.
" We will be landing in about, Five. so please put up your trays, and turn airplane mode off."
Sighing, Dallon turned airplane mode off, and leaned his head back on the seat. Dear god. He wished he'd just taken his own jet. It would of been so much quieter, and he would of had to worry about the smells of people who hadn't showered in god-knows-how-long.
'Tell me. Are you close?' Emily asked.
He smiled. ' Close. You here?'
'Yes. With jayden.'
'Good.' he laughed. ' Landing soon. Can't wait to meet him.' he sighed. ' Can't wait to see you again.'
******
He wound his way through the crowd, and looked around the parking lot.
' I see you! Come to the red BMW3- a few rows down from you.' emily texted.
Dallon smiled, and hoisted his bag over his shoulder, dragging his suitcase behind. He saw the car Emily had described. And saw her- her hair curled, in the outfit he'd first met her in. a tall boy with dark brown hair and a gray hoodie pulled up over his head stood on the other side of the trunk, hands in his pockets- his face hard.
Emily waved, and he walked a little quicker towards her. She ran halfway to meet him, flinging her arms around him. " Dallon- I'm so glad you could make it."
He laughed, wrapping his arms around her. He sighed, resign his cheek on her head. He was quite a bit taller than her. " Me too-" he said, as he looked at her brother. He drew away gently, holding his hand out to him. " And you must be Jayden. I'm Dallon."
" I know who you are." he said darkly. He came over, taking Dallons bags, and put them in the trunk, looking at him the whole time. Emily's hand brushed his lightly. " Don't worry about it-" she said quietly. " He's just overprotective."
Dallon snorted. " I've noticed."
" Shhh-" Emily laughed, glancing at her brother as he came around the end of the car.
" Don't get too cozy, Weekes; cause the first time something happens, I'm not gonna be there for Emily. I'm only gonna cover her ass 'cause of the twin pact. And if that doesn't happen, then you're screwed. Mom doesn't even know about this. I'm the only one." he glared. " So you'd better watch yourself. Or else I won't be."
Dallon dipped his head, as he headed towards the back seat. " Of course."
He gets in behind Jayden, and Emily gets in the driver's seat. " That was uncalled for, Jayden." he hears her whisper. Jayden snorts and closes his door as his sister beings to pull out of the parking lot.
Dallon takes his phone out of his pocket, seeing Brendon has texted him.
'You there yet?'
' Yes-" he replies. ' We're in Bangor, Maine.'
' Never been there. What's the girls brother like?'
' Asshole.' he replies. ' isnt a fan id say.'
' lol.'
Dallon put his phone down, to see Emily looking at him in the rearview mirror. He smiled, and she smiled back, blushing.
'' Keep your eyes on the road." Jayden snapped.
Emily rolled her eyes, but did as she was told.
Jayden sighed, and when he spoke, his voice was gentler. " Would you like me to drive?"
Emily hesitated a moment, before shaking her head. " No, that's okay. I'll be fine."
Jayden looked skeptically at her, but said nothing.
