There was a sudden yowl. Sugar got up and ran over to the only cat nearby. Willow. Her friend looked in pain.

"Are you alright?" She asked in worry." I could hear you from the garden."

"T-The kit..."

"The...kit?"

Willow winced in pain. It took a moment for Sugar to realize what was happening. Panic started to kick in. Her tail swished left and right, eyes wide.

"Ughumluh...." She murmured random gibberish. "Ugh, what do I do?"

"S-Snow.."

"Yes?" She responded with complete panic.

"Get Snow!"

"Okay!" She ran off to find Snow and the camp wherever it was. Her memory was a bit fuzzy since it had been awhile since she was at the camp. Thankfully she found it eventually.

"Snow!" She yelled, not knowing where to look.

Snow looked up, dragging Thorntail along as well despite him just coming back.

"What?! What's wrong?!"

"Come, Come, Come, Come on!" She meowed impatiently.

She nodded and followed her to where Willow was. Snow looked surprise to see what was happening. Sugar helped Snow get the proper herbs for the proccess. A while later of awkward patience, Snow revealed a small white tom with black paws suckling at Willow's belly. Sugar curiously observed the kit.

"I'm going to give him to Thorntail so he can take care of it." Willow announced.

Everyone looked surprised. Thorntail especially.

"Errr...how come?" He asked in complete confusion.

"Because I don't want him to be judged by what his mother is so please take care of him." Willow meowed.

"Shouldn't his actual dad take care of him?" He asked. He thought bitterly of DarkClan, sounding upset when saying dad, thinking about Shadow.

"No! I made a mistake ever loving him!" She hissed.

"Wht do you mean?" Sugar asked.

"When I was out looking for him I saw him..." She looked down with tears in her eyes.

Sugar stood by Willow's side. She nudged her gently trying to comfort her.

"He was with another she-cat nuzzling her...." She cried

"Well-" Sugar had no clue how she would handle it. " You deserved better anyways. And you know that you can be better without him. You made a mistake and that's it."

Willow burried her face into her paws. Sugar comfortingly setting her tail on her shoulder. She turned to look at the kit.

"I'll name you Light." Willow murmurs looking at the kit.

Thorntail sniffed at the kit.

"But why me?" He asked.

"Because I trust you, your mate, Snow, your clan so I trust that you'll take care of him." Willow replied.

"Very well." Thorntail mumbled uncomfortably.

Sugar looked at Willow with worry.

"Are you sure about this?" She asked softly.

Willow closed her eyes and nodded. Sugar curled her tail and looked at Thorntail. Both had nothing to say. Snow slowly picked up the sleeping kit by the scruff. Sugar knew this must've been hard for Willow.
