Yo slipped down the inside of his door hitting the floor with a thump as his wet feet glided on the parquet floor, a big grin on his face as he reached for the phone in his pocket, calling Ming who had been waiting for his call all night.
"Soooo, are you gonna go on a second date with Forth?" Ming answered with an excited breath and Yo furrowed his brows before realizing what his friend meant.
"What, oh... No... Yes... I don't know... BUT. Ming, you will never believe what happened!" Yo said as he put the call on speaker.
"Alright... Shoot lover boy" Ming was smiling to himself on his end anticipating that this must of have something to do with his best friend's crush Phana.
Yo told Ming about his meet in the rain and Ming hummed along and gasped at all the right moments as Yo continued his story.
"He wants to smell me Ming..." Yo finished with a nervous laugh.
"So, basically he wants inside your pants" Ming huffed.
"Miiing, stop..."
"Sorry, of course not, he wants to hold hands and serenade you or whatever" Ming couldn't help himself, Yo was such a romantic little shithead sometimes.
"I told him yes..."
"What?! When?!"
"Tomorrow..."
Ming was genuinely surprised, his careful loving friend was for once taking a risk. If you don't count coming to a university and pursuing an entirely different field than you wanted just for a guy a risk...
"So... Are you gonna do it?"
Yo fidgeted before answering.
"I am"
"You should probably take the patch off now so he can really smell you" Ming teased but Yo took it as an instruction and ripped it off in one fast move.
"There... It's off... Fuck... Pulling those things off never gets easier" He continued as he rubbed at the sore spot that was left behind.
"But you must feel better with them off, right?" Ming said in earnest and Yo closed his eyes and leaned his head back on the door.
"It does... It's like... Waking up"
Ming smiled before answering "I'm happy for you, I truly am"
"Thank you Ming"
"Alright, this is getting too sappy, see you tomorrow, I'll pick you up early?"
"Fine" Yo giggled "See you tomorrow, G'night Ming!"
"Night lover boy"
