-T's PoV-

I woke up to Minho banging on my door telling me to get up. I was going to go into the maze again today. I was ready. I know I can't spend any more time in here.

As I got dressed I walked out the door, Minho was waiting for me. He held out something in his hand. "For you." He said. He handed my runners vest. "Your lunch and bottle are in there already. You ready to go?" I nodded and we made our way out of the homestead and to the doors. "HEY GUYS WAIT!" I turned to see Newt coming towards us. "I just wanted to say good luck." He looked at me with a worried expression and placed his hand on my shoulder. I said nothing and turned towards the opening doors and just started running before either of them could say anything.

For some reason this time, running felt different compared to two days ago. I just felt even more trapped then I did in the glade. I pushed those feelings aside and just started mapping in my head. Minho quickly caught up with me and followed close behind.

-2 hours later-

"Okay, let's...let's stop for lunch." Minho panted. I nodded and slipped my vest off my sweating body. We both sat by the edge of a wall and said nothing. "Your not touching your lunch." He said with a mouth full of sandwich. "Not hungry."
"Well you gotta each something shuck face. We're not moving until you do." I rolled my eyes and took a bit of my apple and put it back down. "All of it." Minho scolded. I tried to eat the rest of my apple and washed it down with the rest of my water.

After lunch we started running again until we noticed the sky getting darker. "It's getting late, we need to head back." He yelled from behind me. I stopped in my tracks and didn't move. A massive wave of memory came over me. I recognised instantly where we were.

Anger and deviation welled up inside me. "T what's wrong?" I fell to my knees. "Hugh..." I whispered. "Huh?"

I turned to face Minho as he looked at me in confusion. "I SHOULD HAVE DIED HERE MINHO! I SHOULD BE DEAD WITH HIM!" Tears streamed down my cheeks. I have said his name or mentioned this since the night it happened. Thinking about it here just brought back the hurt a lot harder this time.

Minho grabbed me and held me to his chest while I screamed in pain. "T, I know it hurts but we have to get back before it's too late!"

"No! You go. I'll stay here. I can't go back into that hell hole again Minho. I can't! I won't!"

-Minho's PoV-

I didn't know what to do about dragging her back. The only possible solution was to carry her. "T, I'm so sorry about this but I have to." I cupped her face, and knocked her unconscious. I sling her over my shoulders and ran back as fast as I could. Lucky for me T was as light as a feather so carrying her wasn't the problem. It was how much time that I had left was the problem.

I could see the sky getting darker. I wasn't going to make it in time.

-Thomas' POV-

I have been working with all the different keepers today and to be honest I wasn't very good at any of the jobs. But ever since I went into that maze. I just wanted to go back in. Maybe that would help me with trying to make T my friend, if I was with her in there.

The day started to drone on, they weren't back yet. The gladers started to worry and murmuring about them not getting back in time.

I walked up to Newt who was waiting by the doors. "They still not back yet?" I asked. Newt shook his head and looked extremely concerned. "They'll be fine." He whispered.

We waited and waited for what seemed like forever until a large gust of wind washed over us. Just at that moment, Minho was coming round the corner with what looked like T on his shoulder. People started yelling as the doors were closing. 'Common Minho you can do it!' 'You have to leave her just run!' All of these comments just got my adrenaline going through my veins. The doors were nearly shut. Minho clearly wasn't getting here in time. I didn't think. I sprinted through the closing doors with the gladers shouting my name for me to come back. Just making it through in time I dropped to the floor with Minho and T on the floor in front of me. "Nice one Shank, you just killed yourself." I dismissed Minho's comment and looked down at T who was unconscious.

"What happened to her?"
"She started to have a break down. We came across the 'place' and she broke. I have to knock her out to get her here."

I bent down to look at her beautiful face. You could see where the tears had been on her face. More squeezing out of her closed eyes. "Do you think we can wake her up?" I asked.  "If you try hard enough. Unfortunately, T, my friend is the heaviest sleeper I have ever known."

I just looked down at her and what about to pick her up when all of a sudden -Gasp- she woke up.

"What the bloody hell happened?!" She yelled. "We're stuck here that's what!" Minho yelled back. They started having a full blown argument over what had happened and that he should have left her to die and all that.

I decided to interrupt. "GUYS!" They turned to look at me. "It's all well and good fighting over it but we have a more important problem. You said that we have to keep moving cause of the grievers right?" Minho nodded and T just looked down with her hand on her hips. Uhh she looks so cute when she's pissed off. No Thomas no, stick with the problem.

We all started running trying to find a temporary safe place to hide. There was a small-ish hole in the wall where we could all squeeze, for now. It wasn't fun to be stuck in here but being this close to T did make me feel better. About 30 minutes had passed.

"Oh I almost forgot. I forgot that I didn't eat my sandwich. She took off her runners vest which had made an outline of sweat on her chest. She pulled a sandwich out of her pack and handed Minho and I half each. "What about you?" I asked. "I'm not hungry."

"I'll eat when we get back to the glade if we survive." Minho shook his head and tore his piece in half. Handing it to T. She hesitated before taking it out of his hand.

-T's PoV-

We sat in the hole for a long time. I eventually started getting a bit sleepy. I started to drift off. Until Minho nudged me and told me to move. Thomas and him had heard griever noises coming from not too far away.

We started to move, trying to find another space for us to hide. We were about to run round a corner when we saw a griever going round the opposite corner. We stopped in our tracks and sprinted in the other direction.

-3 hours later-

This night seems to have been going on forever. We were all exhausted, hungry and dehydrated. I wanted nothing more that my bed.

We found a small place for us to sit on top of a wall, out of sight. We all laid there in silence. Waiting for the extraordinary miracle of the sun coming up, meaning the griever wouldn't be out. According to Minho the sun wasn't going to come up for another 3 hours. Great.
I turned over and shut my eyes, they boys thinking I was asleep.

"So are we going to talk about as to why you ran into the maze without thinking Thomas?" Minho asked. "I don't know what it was. It was just instinct. I saw you guys in trouble and I wanted to help." Thomas whispered

"Why were you guys late in the first place?"
"I told you, T freaked about the whole Hugh thing. She was re living the situation."

Wait Thomas doesn't know does he? I thought to myself.
"That must've been really horrible for her to re live."
Oh god he does know. I'm going to kill Newt for telling him. I know it was him.

I felt a fresh tear rolling down my face, with all of this drama, I managed to fall back to sleep.

I woke up to Minho shaking me. And then shaking Thomas awake. "Guys, sunrise." He whispered.
"Holy shit we made it. That wasn't as deadly as I thought it was going to be." Thomas said. Minho looked and me a rolled his eyes. "Yeah well don't get cocky. Your gonna get in big trouble seeing as this is the second time you've gone into the maze." Minho said.

We climbed down the wall and started running back to the glade. My legs were going to give out any second I I didn't stop. I needed water so badly too.

Eventually we turned the corner and saw the glade. Plenty of the boys were standing there waiting for our arrival. I crossed the doors and collapsed on the ground asking for water which Newt gave me. "You had me so bloody worried." He looked as though he'd been crying. I patted him on the shoulder and lifted my self up.

Newt looked at Thomas who was standing there awkwardly. "You, you are in big trouble."
