It was a few hours before the Ball and Harry was stressing over his outfit. He wanted to look good for this occasion but he didn't really own a lot of nice, serious clothes. He supposed he'd have to roll with his Yule Ball outfit, enchanting it to fit him properly again of course.

He dressed quickly and waited for Draco, who, Harry guessed, would pull a total girl on this one and take hours. Harry sighed and sat down in an armchair, thinking about everything that has been hapenning lately. His mind was still not fully wrapped around the fact he was in love.

Luna was right, it really was a big thing. Harry wasn't scared of it, though he did felt intimidated by it at times. The raven was certain he could overcome it, he won a war, surely this couldn't be tougher. As he sat there, he slowly drifted off thinking about these things and a pair of grey eyes, and his heart raced.

Yeah, no, this would be tougher.

A hand on his shoulder snapped Harry from his thoughts and he looked up to see Draco, ready to go. Harry stood up and looked Draco's outfit over. Damn the boy could dress.

He looked great.

"You look good." Harry told him as they exited their common room. Draco's cheeks flushed slightly and he nodded:

"Not so bad yourself Potter."

Harry smiled shyly and they walked to the Great Hall in silence. Just before they entered though, Draco tugged on Harry's sleeve, stopping him for a second.

Harry turned around to look at Draco's furrowed eyebrows and worried eyes.

"What's wrong Dray?"

Draco sighed and spoke:

"Listen, are you sure you're comfortable going with me to this Ball, it's okay if you change your mind."

Harry rolled his eyes and he answered:

"I want to go with you, don't worry. C'mon now."

He said as he pushed the doors to the Great Hall open and stepped into the grand room. It was filled with students, all dressed nicely. They mingled amidst the crowd, going to get some Butterbeer.

"Hey Draco, what do you want to do after this eigth year is over?" Harry asked his blonde friend. Draco stopped to think about, he wasn't quite sure what he could do, what with him being an ex Death Eater and stuff.

"I guess I've always liked the idea of being a Healer." He finally replied and Harry nodded.

"You'd do good."

Draco raised an eyebrow:

"How do you know that?"

Harry smiled encourigangly:

"I just do."

Draco bit his lip and looked into his cup of Butterbeer in thought before speaking again.

"What do you wanna do?"

"I want to be an Auror." Harry replied, taking a gulp of his Butterbeer. They talked a little more and had a few more Butterbeers before McGonagall stood up to announce something:

"Once again, I'd like to congratulate all of the winners of the Talent Show and everyone else who participated. Now, the dance may begin!" Her voice boomed across the silent chatter of the students. At her statement, soft music started playing and wafting slowly through the air.

Everyone turned to their dance partners and began dancing, but Harry and Draco stood still, both too shy and nervous to say anything. Eventually Harry took a deep breath and gathered all his courage, stepping up to Draco:
