"Ma, ima' be going out for a bike ride with Eli, I won't be out to long so don't worry."

I said to my mama from upstairs.

I lied.

I'm actually going with Timothée but she can't know that.

Mama and I made up yesterday. She apologized like crazy and told me how she loved me over and over.

I always get my way.

"Ok baby, don't stay out to long be home before 7."

She said back.

I grabbed my backpack to carry my water and a mini towel then made my way downstairs.

She gave me a kiss on my cheek then said,

"I love you baby stay safe."

"I love you more ma' bye."

I said making my way outside.

I unhooked my bike to the tree in the backyard and made my way to Timothèe's block.

It took me 4 minutes to reach their.

It was 12:00 PM on the dot when I left. The sun was out, it was about 75 degrees outside. Not to hot not to cold it was just right.

He snuck his house number under my bed sheets the day he came into my house.

I was fixing my bed until I saw a thin white sheet of paper fall on the floor which wrote:

"5479 Crystal Avenue meet me their tomorrow my love."

*Knock knock*

I knocked on Timothée front door.

"Please be him that answers the door."

I murmured under my breath.

I was practically shaking.

I feel so guilty for doing something so wrong, or so I felt it was wrong.

If someone see's me in this neighborhood, I could get the cops called on me or worse... killed.

The door handle is being unlocked and I can't help but shake from fear.

"Hey beautiful you came,

"Why are you shaking?"

"What's wrong?"

"Did someone threaten you just now?"

Timothèe says bombarding me with questions.

I find it cute how he gets so protective.

"N-no,

I stammered.

I-it's just that I didn't want anybody else but you opening the door because nobody knows about us."

I whisper the last part.

"It's okay."

Timotheé says while caressing my face.

"Nobody is going to be home anytime soon.

He walks closer and embraces me.

"Now let's go for that bike ride."

••••

"You are so silly I love it."

Timothée says laughing historically at a embarrassing story I told him.

I can't help but grin.

"How about we race to the end of Jefferson parkway?"

I say.
