"Girls wake up!" My mom says coming into me and my sisters room( yes I call my step mom mom cause she treats me really nice and so does her daughter)
"Morning momma" I say walking into the kitchen and sitting down at the table patiently waiting for my Mom's famous Chocolate chip pancakes
"Morning mom" My sister says "Morning sis" she says rubbing my hair
"Hey girl, u almost ready to go to the mall?" I ask while getting up to pour some orange juice from the pitcher into my cup
"Sorry, can't today. My friends wanna go studying for our finals" she says hugging me and pouting
"It's all good sis, I'll catch u next week" I told her while hugging her back
"Breakfast is served girls" my mom says while sitting Chocolate chip pancakes, crispy bacon, lightly burnt sausages, grits and biscuits, cut up potatoes, eggs, and hash browns down on the table
Me and my sister only really eat just the pancakes and bacon and go about our day, the rest is for my dad "Thanks for the breakfast ma" I said while kissing her on the cheek
"Anything for my babies" she says while kissing both of us on the foreheads
"Where's dad?" My sister said
"Still sleep, he was up all night watching Black panther while I was sleep. He just couldn't wait to watch it in the morning " she said rolling her eyes while me and my sister were laughing

As I was walking around the mall by myself I got really hungry and decided to go to Starbucks
Thinking about it, it did make me really sad that my sister couldn't come but school is really important to her and she really wants to pass this test. If you're wondering why I'm not in school it's because I already finished back home in America so they said that there's no reason for me to go now.
As I made my way to Starbucks I was on my phone texting until I bumped into someone
"Americano ple" was all they could say before I bumped into them
"Sorry" I said bowing and walking into the empty line next to them in embarrassment
"It's fine" the person said laughing and shrugging it off
After I got my order and sat down at a table the stranger walked over to me drinking his drink before he pulled out a chair and sat right in front of me
"I never got your name" he said while drinking his drink
"Nique" i said holding out my arm
"Dabin" he said shaking mine
"So, you new here?" He asked me while playing with his fingers
"Yea, I just recently moved out here with my dad and step mom" I said drinking my coffee
"Evil step mother?" He said laughing
"No" I said laughing
"Well you seem like a cool girl, can I get your number so we can hang out?" He asked while pulling out his phone and handing it to me like he already knew I was gonna give it to him
"Sure" I said while laughing and putting in my number
"Nice meeting you Nique" he said while smiling and getting up to leave
"You too" I said while smiling and going back to drinking my coffee
~4hrs~ (At home)
While I was laying on my bed scrolling through Instagram I got a text from a number
(Who is this?) I mentally said to myself Then it hit me! I forgot I gave that really cute guy my number
( so at this point I'm just gonna make it seem like they're texting)

As I was walking down the stairs and made my way to the table my whole family was looking at confused at me
"What?" I said looking all worried
"Why were you smiling so big?" My mom asked while placing dinner on the table
"Oh nothing, just in a really good mood" I said sitting down and just daydreaming
"Somethings up and I think it's a boy" my dad said looking all worried
I stayed quiet while looking at everyone until my dad said "I knew it, it is about a boy" he said while pointing his fork at me
"Dad chill out, he's only a friend" I said laughing and eating
"Aww, my baby is growing up" my said while walking over to me and hugging me
"Mommma" I said laughing and trying to back away
"So, is he cute?" My sister and mom both asked
"Oh my gosh, he's just a friend I said while laughing and playing with my rice
"Yea, a FRIEND" my sister said laughing and looking at my mom
"Well I wanna know who he is" my dad said
"Dad, he's just a pal. That's it" I said looking at my food
"That's what I said to my parents about your father and now look where I am" my mom said laughing
"Hey I'm the best thing that's ever happened to you" my dad said while getting up to kiss her
"I'm just gonna go upstairs" I said laughing
