A Rookies Dream (ON HOLD)

Chapter 2: First Glance

You guys enter the school and walk to your lockers which were next to each other. You had a lot of time until school actually started. It was currently 8:20am  and school only started at 8:45am. You and Jessica start a conversation as you get somethings together for your first class.

"Hey isn't there an assembly today?" you ask her.

She responds, "Your right. They're doing that thing where they bring in a person who tells us a really 'inspiring' story."

Great. The school does this every year. They bring in a person that tells us a story about how they made their dream come true. It's all usually so boring. Hopefully this year they get someone interesting.

"Hello!" Jessica says as I snap out of my thoughts and back into reality.

"Sorry I didn't mean to doze off." I say.

"No not that, look." she says as she stops in her tracks.

I look at what she was pointing at. She was pointing at someone inside the auditorium. The door was wide open allowing us to look through. It was a boy. He was pretty tall, taller than me at least. He had white/platinum blonde hair and was wearing a black baseball cap.

'Maybe that's the speaker' you think.

You try to look at his face but he was looking down at his phone. You and Jessica keep on looking to try to get a good look at his face. All of a sudden he looks up from and his phone and straight at you. Jessica quickly pulls you away and you both run down the hallway back to your lockers.

"Wow.. woah.. he's hot" you say out of breath, "Do you think he saw us?"

"Well, he definitely saw you. I dodged his sight." she says.

The doors open as the students start pouring in while the bell rings letting everyone know that first period is about to start. You and Jessica part ways and you go to your first classes. About half way through your third class the intercom goes off.

"Will the teachers please bring their students to the auditorium for the assembly."

Everyone gets up and goes out the door. You enter the auditorium and since you guys were the first people there you all sat front row. The auditorium started filling up. There were about one hundred people in that room. After about five minutes, the principal went up to the stage and told everyone to quiet down.

"As you know every year we bring someone to talk about how they succeeded in getting their dream job. This year we have brought in a younger person so that each of you can relate to him. He is 24 years old. Please welcome, Min Yoongi."

That boy that you saw earlier comes out and steps out and steps off the stage onto the main floor. Everyone claps and you even hear some girls whisper 'Damn.. he's fucking hot'

You know he is but you can't help but want to just shut them up. You calm down and keep your thoughts to yourself.
