It was 1777, the war of the 13 colonies fight against Great Britain troops. All the young soldiers who wanted freedom and a rise up from the past they were made to clean up after. This was Alexander Hamilton's dream come true ever since he was 8, and the best part? He wasn't in this alone. The revaluation set was by his side, his friends: Aaron Burr- Graduated from Princeton college early, has experience in war, but doesn't stand for anything. Lafayette-The bravest man of the war front. French and badass. (He's literally Lancelot.) Hercules Mulligan- spies on the British government, this guy is literally the shit, he fixes everyone's clothes when they need it fixed. Last but certainly not least, John Laurens- fights for freedom for slaves, likes to draw and write in his spare time, drinks alot, and writes lots of letters to Alexander. (God knows what they wrote about.) But together, they made history of America.
Alexander Hamilton was one of the best soldiers of the battle front. Along with other men, he was excited to finally live to his dreams come true before his very eyes. A Young man of shorten height, long wavy red hair, and freckles. As dark eyes glanced in the sunlight. It was the middle of June, half of the soldiers were just coming in from the shore. Alexander rode a boat to the battle ground as well but it didn't go as expected when everyone thought he was dead. Washington lead the men into the battle ground along with his fellow soldier Lafayette who was always by his side. They were often considered to have a father and son relationship even though they weren't related. All of Alexander's friends were in the same training camp together. Especially John Laurens who shared a bunk with Alexander recommended by Washington. As Alexander was sitting on his bed lost in thought, when he looked up to see a man a bit taller than him, was very masculine, and long blonde hair that was tied in a ponytail. "Mr.Hamilton, you seem more distant then usual. Anything wrong?" John asks I'm concern. Alex shakes his head and grins. "Nothing to concern yourself with my dear Laurens. I was just being lone with my thoughts. I like to look back to where I started in the Caribbean, a poor orphan boy. Thinking of the next war. Now look at where we are." John looks at him up and down smiling. "Indeed you have come a long way Alexander. You are a man of accomplishment. I bet all my life, that you'll win this war." Alex looks at John with a gentle smile before leaving the room. "The same goes for you as well John." John smiles watching him leave.
"Listen up trainees! Today is your first day of training. All the progress you do here will determine if we should send you out to the field yet. If not I'm afraid you will have to be assigned a job that is bringing in supplies and such. Now I won't be training you, my right hand man Lafayette will." Washington looks at Laf with a smile signaling him to give orders. "Listen to him and behave." Washington looks at all the young men before heading back to his tent. Lafayette was a tall man with brown natural hair that you can see through his wig. His badges proved his strength and bravery. "Oi moi gentleman, first we shall start up with some basic exercising for the next few weeks. Then we shall see how good you all are with guns." That last sentence widen Alex's eyes with wonder. He always wanted to own his own gun but never could afford it. "I think I've said all I needed to, let's get started soldiers."
After all of the men have trained, they were gasping and sweating in the hot humid June air. As Alexander's body wasn't as for as he thought. He rushed off to a near by bush and threw up. John notices rushing over to him holding back his hair. "Maybe you should ask for a break Alexander..." John says looking at him concerned, but he shakes his head. "No I have to get stronger. It's the only way I can rise up, I have to do this." John shakes his head. "You don't have to do anything Hamilton, but if your body can't handle it-" Alexander looks at him with a saddened look. "John I don't need you to tell me what to do. That's Lafayette's job" He pushes John's hand away as he leaves going back to his bunker.
Alex writes in his journal on a near by table where the soldiers write letters. John walks over to him slowly and sincere. "Alexander...I apologise for earlier. You're right I don't have the right to give you a command." Alex stops writing looking up into John's eyes who seemed to look saddened. "But as your friend, I do have the right to care about your well being and make sure you don't die. I don't know if that's a Caribbean thing, but in South Carolina we take care of those we love." John looks down. Alex sees that being alone after so long, not having anyone to care for him. He'd forgotten what it's like. "I know, I blame my ignorance on my isolated past of being alone. I've had friends but none of them cared for me as much as you have Laurens. " As they sat together, Alex looks off to the window to see the hills, then glances at John's hand as he takes it. "I wanna show you something. Follow me." Alexander takes John with him out the building and into the hilltops. "May I ask where we are heading?" Alex doesn't answer.
They marched to the hill top as John had his eyes close instructed from Alexander as he guided him to the top. "Can I open them yet?" He sighs. "Yeah open." John opens his eyes as there was a sunset in the horizon. There was a certain beauty in watching rare moments like this pass by. Alexander interuppts the thought. "I'm sorry if this wasn't much of a surprise but I found it very poetic." John nods. "It's a wonderful sight Alexander. Just perfect." He collapses on the grass sitting down as Alex does the same. "How did you find this spot?" "I come here a lot when I'm thinking about home. My mother always told me that sunsets where an ending of one day going on to the next one." He grins looking at the clouds. "Sometimes I wonder if she's watching over me." John looks at him, putting his hand over his shoulder. "I bet she is Alex. I think she would be proud to have a son like you." Alex smiles a bit looking down."Thank you John, before I kinda thought I would be looked as the opposite...a disappointment if you would." John looks at him confused. "Disappoinment? Alexander you are far beyond that definition. Please look at me." John puts his hand on the side of Alex's face directing it towards him. Alexander's eyes are on the verge of tears bringing out the colors in them. "John I...." John shushes him giving a gentle kiss on his head, bringing him to a hug. They sat in silence as the sky began to darken. Alexander broke away from the hug. "We should get heading back. I don't want us to get written up." John nods. "Agreed that wouldn't be good." They walked back to the camp before anyone noticed they were gone. Except for a certain Lafayette who happened to see them seek back in but didn't say a word.
