|| Ch. 2 - Rescue pt. 1 ||

Packing up our things, we descended down the rooftop stairs and headed to one of the staff rooms on the 2nd floor.

Knocking on the door, we heard a "come in" voice from the inside but it was muffled. Entering the off perimeter room, there sat the teacher that we really need to see...

"Ah isn't it the very cheerful gang?" He said, looking up from his book. "Save you breath Mr. Park, now tell us where our best friend is?" I spat out, taking two steps forward. "Oh please Ms. Upshur, care to do some greetings first? That would be gladly appreciated" He had a smirk on his face that made me want to punch him. "Well if that's what you want, then Good Morning Mr Park" I said, giving my best fake smile to him. "That's better, now what do you guys want?" He asked, setting his unfinished book on the table. "Well, we're here to ask you if happen to know where our friend Jessica is" Sadie said calmly. He thought for a moment and stood up. "You guys are clever as ever..how can I even keep up with this" he sighed, walking past us and out the room, with us behind him.

He stopped at a very ancient-looking door and pressed a bunch of number in some panel which opened the door. He stepped inside first and we followed suit. He went down some stairs and opened another door. Which reveals the secret of Evergreen....

The Recreation Room..

The dark and empty room was filled with different kinds animal statues left and right and infront of every animal, there is a weapon that represents it. "No one has been doing rituals recently, that's a fresh. Hey Mr. Park, what's Jessica doing down here?" Mikaela asked, pointing at our missing friend lying on the ground. "Well, she told me this morning that she wants to have the power of the Recreators but it turns out that she wasn't prepared for the consequences" He replied, glancing at Jessica on the floor. "Is there any way to break away from this 'trance' that she's in?" I blurted out, making my friends nod along. "Well there is one way to completely stop the trance that she's in..."

"So, what are we doing again?" Sadie asked, turning her head towards the middle of the room, where Mr. Park was standing. "In order to free Jessica, we must all pick an animal statue and pull out its respective weapon, and I will start the chant to free Jessica" Mr. Park explained, making us scurry to the animal of our choice.

"Aren't you gonna pick an animal Journee?" Mr. Park asked to Journee, making her wave her hands infront of her body in return. "Umm not today Mr. Park, I'll try again next time" she let out a chuckle. "Ok then" Mr. Park said and directed his attention to us.

"Now that everyone has a statue, please yell out what animal you have and its name"

"I picked a Lion and its name is Leon"

"I bestow on the Fox named James"

"I choose Sakura, a white Owl"

As we all pull out our respective weapons simultaneously, Mr. Park began the chanting. "Spirits of the Recreation, I hereby to let these children seek out their friend in your spirit form!" After saying the chant, the weapons that we pulled out were glowing a bright red color...

The flash of the red light blinded my eyes for a few seconds. "Hello...?" I called out, but no one replied. "Who are you? A rookie perhaps?" A deep and intriguing voice boomed around the entire space. "Well you can say that, are you...Leon?" I called out, hearing big and heavy footsteps in my direction. "Indeed I am, I was awakened from my slumber. Are you in need of me?"

"Why does it have it have to be nighttime out of all times?" I groan, running my hands in my brown hair. I was in a forest and I have no idea where I am nor I have time for that.

Whoo~

My eyes widened and I quickly scanned my surroundings. "What was that? Its probably just an owl...right?"

"You could say that"

I lifted my head up to one of the trees to see and outline of an owl. "Hello there, what brings you into my home?" The feathered animal asked, flying down from the tree branch and into the ground. "Umm well, I kinda need your help on something" I said, causing the owl to let out a "who~" sound. "And what would it be?"

"What happened.....? Am I dead or something..?" My eyes flutter to be blinded by rays of sun above me. "So I might come across the animal that I picked a while ago, sooo I guess I should find him." I said to myself, standing up and heading deeper into the forest.

"Come out little fox, I know you're here somewhere. I won't hurt you, I just need for you to do me a favo-" I was cut off by the sound of the bushes rustling around me. Standing in my defense position, I face on of the bushes and yelled "I'm not afraid of you...whoevers in there" all of sudden a flash of orange colors concealed my vision for a moment. "What the-?!" I fell down on the ground, desperately looking around. "Just chill human, I'm not gonna bite" a cheerful voice halted my movement which made turn my head to source of it. "Eh? A fox? I can't believe it, Is your name James?" The fox nodded which made me fist pump the sky. "You told me that you need a favor that I must do, what is it?"

=Mr. Park POV=

Two hours have past since the girls started their rescue mission. I was still standing in the middle of the room until Journee caught my attention. "Hey Mr. Park?" She ask, making me turn my head towards her. "Do you have any idea what's the purpose of the Recreation Room?" Her brown eyes stared back into my black ones.

"Well the creation room has been has been around for quite a while. Truth to be told, I was still a trainee when I first discovered this place" my white hand gestured around the room.

"Way to go Park, accepting a business from a foreign that speaks different from your native tongue...fantastic" I muttered to myself, glancing at some students left and right. I grabbed on the door knob and I completely tumbled down the stairs.

"May the powet of the-! What the hell?!" A booming voice echoed around the spacious room. "I'm sorry to intrude! I didn't mean to disturb you" I quickly apologized and was about leave until a force prevented me.

"You seem awfully bold, just leaving. You have to pay for the consequences" then darkness took over me.

"Well whatever the reason was for this place, I just hope it won't add more fuel to the fire"

"Yeah....I hope so..."
