Chapter Two: Dawn

{Still AshStar's P.o.v}

I had a while to make up my mind about a new deputy... StormFeather would never be forgotten... May StarClan guide his paws... My paws led me to the Moonpool. All I could really set my mind on the moment was my clan. Phantie? or BrackenClaw? Afterall BrackenClaw is more experienced, yet he's our eldest warrior.. but that tom just had a new liter with DoveFlower...But Phantie.. He's showed so much skill and loyalty. My eyes went to the sky. It was already turning into the evening. The sun would be set soon. A sigh fell from my muzzle. 

"StarClan...Please...Guide me to make the right choice." 

I whispered lightly as I dipped my nose lightly onto the surface of the pool. I found a spot to rest and closed my eyes.

Phantomime's P.o.v: 

I brushed my fur and saw my sister sitting on the top of a rock. I looked at her, she gave a sigh. 

"Took a hard day?" 

I said finally sitting next to my leader. 

"You have no idea." 

She said flicking her tail. 

"Try me." 

I said chuckling. 

"Anything to report out Phantomime?" 

She said giving me her leader look. I brushed my paw on her head and face and growled playfully at her. 

"No not really, but-" 

I turned my head and AshStar was gone. 

"Wait!" 

I said as she headed for the Moonpool. AshStar turned her head at me and flicked her tail once more than continued on her way. 

"Ashy!" 

I said in my big brother voice. 

"Please! It's about MurderStar!" 

I said as she stopped once more in her path. 

"We'll talk after I come back from the Moonpool, understand?" 

I sighed and nodded. Then she was off.

MurderStar's P.o.v: 

I stared at AshClan's territory from a high tree. I narrowed my eyes and saw an old friend. Phantie. 

"Well, well, well. If it's not Phantomime." 

I said under my breath. I saw him look up at the tree I was sitting in. He saw me. I grinned making my way down the tree and disappeared into the dark.

RavenKit's P.o.v: 

I watched Lily get a bath and sighed as it continued to rain throughout the day. The night fell quick on us but the rain pushed on.

AshStar's P.o.v: 

The forest glowed brightly as silverpelt. My paws couldn't help but lead me further into the forest. So many familiar scents, and so many unfamiliar ones. I let my paws carry me to AshClan's old leader. That is if I could find him...PineStar.

PineStar's P.o.v: 

My ears flicked lightly as I searched for AshStar. She needed my guidance.
