Chapter Three: BrokenClan

AshStar's P.o.v:

Soon my journey to StarClan was over. My eyes opened. I was back around the MoonPool.

"It's almost dawn.."

I mewed lightly as I stretched, my paws were ready for the journey back home.

"StormFeather my love.. Guide my pawsteps..."

LilyKit's P.o.v:

"Raven! Raven! Wake up!"

I said pushing her out of her nest. Mama was awake as well, yet she kept her eyes closed. She was listening.

RavenKit's P.o.v:

I felt my body move and opened my eyes and saw Lily. The sun finally came out from the sky up above. The night was over and the day came to wake us all. I yawned and looked back at Lily and hissed at her as I fell back to sleep.

MurderStar's P.o.v:

My paws were so tired of walking all night. I wondered what StarClan would think of my actions. I let a sigh escape from my muzzle and entered my camp. I moved towards the nursery and found my love MatchFur with our kit. I plopped down next to them and fell asleep with them.

AshStar's P.o.v:

By the time I entered the camp dawn was already here. I padded over to the high rock and jumped. I let myself breath, soon my call was made. AshClan was getting a new deputy.

Phantomime's P.o.v:

I yawned and stretched my paws out. I made my way out of the warrior's den and saw Ashie on the high rock. She looked over at the warriors den and saw me. She motioned at me with a flick of her tail. I got up and walked over to the high rock.

DarkKit's P.o.v:

Papa's scent overtook everything in the nursery. My eyes opened lightly, my ears lightly flicking.

"Papa?"

I lightly mewed. His tail wrapped lightly around me. I smiled and schooched closer to him.

MurderStar's P.o.v:

I gave a yawn and saw my beloved DarkKit come next to me, he was soon asleep. I gave a small smile and rubbed my nose with his and placed my scent onto him and saw MatchFur wake up.

"Good morning my love."

I said purring at her softly and smiling at my mate.

RavenKit's P.o.v:

I yawned and saw dawn awake from its sleep and it said hello to the world. I got out from the nursery and saw AshStar on the HighRock.

AshStar's P.o.v:

I let myself relax. My eyes scanned the camp, soon almost the whole clan was gathered around HighRock.

"Cats of AshClan, as we know StormFeather has left AshClan.. Yet he walks with StarClan... We lost a great warrior, friend, deputy, and mate.."

I whispered the last word so light only I could hear it.

"StormFeather's position fell, as we all know I must choose a new deputy before dawn. Yet it is already upon us."

My eyes shifted over my clan. Every cat's attention fell on me.

"My decision was one that took some time, yet I believe StarClan has lead my paws in the right direction."

I mewed lightly as I jumped down from the HighRock and I padded over to the tom.

RavenKit's P.o.v:

I rolled my eyes as all the warriors sat under the large rock. I went back to the nursery and looked over at Lily and then over at mama. Once again Lily jumped on me, I sighed but smiled.

MurderStar's P.o.v:

The breeze was chilly and came into the nursery. I felt DarkKit move closer to me and I couldn't help but smile. I gave him a lick ontop of his head. My eyes drifted to MatchFur.

"How was your day love?"

I asked her softly.

"Okay. DarkKit gets more adventurous each day."

I turned my head and saw BlueSnake had approached the nursery. I gave my mate one last lick and moved out.
