Lothal was beautiful. Kira wondered around the capital city for about a week now. She slept on the streets and hadn't eaten in days. She didn't exactly plan on having to run to a different planet when she packed credits the day she left. She used half of what she had on the shuttle and the rest on fruit from the market. Her body was fragile and could break so very soon.

Kira had never been to Lothal or ever heard of it, yet she felt this connection to it . As if something was telling her there was more there. More she needed to find. Her limp legs carried her through the markets out to the feilds of grass. She laid in the tall grass watching the world go by when she was awaken from her daydream to a loth cat bouncing around her.

"Hello little guy. What are you doing?" Kira's voice was soft and calming as she reached for the loth cat to pet it. It came to her with a strong purr rubbing its face against her palm. She laid in the field with the loth cat for the rest of the day.

As the sun began to set and the moons rise, Kira left the feilds back to the city with the loth cat pouncing at her heels. She chuckled watching the cat jump in the long grass. She became distracted by the loth cat that she didn't see a speeder coming towards her. Her instincts told her to run but her body weakened by the minute. Before she knew she was laying on the ground, the speeder hadn't touched her but her body fell anyway. Too frail to do anything she laid as her eyes began to shut.

Kira woke startled. She had this sudden burst of energy. She looked around at where she was. Her heart pounding and head spinning she tried to make out of what she saw. She knew she wasn't in the field but wasn't in the city. The walls were colourful and the place actually seemed quite homey. She stood from the bed not knowing who brought her here or what happened.

She looked around and saw no one, so she took the opportunity to leave. She opened the doors and what she saw was stunning. She was standing on a communications tower looking out across the feilds to the white, shimmering city.

"Welcome to Lothal." A voice so calm and gentle came from behind her. "I suppose your new. I haven't seen you around before."

"Y-yes. I just arrived," Kira's voice shaking as she turned around to see a mandalorian women with colourful armour. She had a purgil on one shoulder pad with the rebellions symbol on the other.

"What's your name kid?" She took off her helmet to revival her short purple hair.

"Kira. Just Kira"

"Well hello Kira, I'm Sabine Wren."

"Sabine, what happened? The last thing I remember was nearly being hit with with a speeder."

"Well the speeder was me. When you fell to the ground I could see how frail you were. So I brought you back here and you've been asleep for nearly 3 days." Sabine lead Kira inside and sat her at a small table. The girl taking in every word. "Here have something to eat. You most be starving." Sabine handed her a plate as they sat down to eat together.

Kira was awfully quiet for the next couple of hours. She wasn't sure what to do. She moved from sitting inside to looking out at the city. Nothing felt natural. Sabine was mostly painting or looking at Star maps but Kira knew she was watching her. Sabine was a friendly stranger who helped her yet they both felt something more to it. Kira could feel the same connection to Sabine as she did the planet, but what that connection was she didn't know. Was Sabine why she was brought to this strange, wonderful planet?

"I have to go but you can stay here if you want. I'll be back within 3 days." Sabine walked up to the girl now alive with spirit watching the miraculous city.

"Thank you." There still hadn't been a lot of conversation between them but Kira knew she would be safe here. She trusted the Mandalorian and Sabine trusted her. They exchanged a friendly nod and smile before Sabine set off on her speeder.
