Undocumented In America

Inhale , exhale
They look at you and simply stare
You're an alien to them
They don't know you
Wasting air
Wasting space , wasting time
Taking a spot that isn't mine
The clock is ticking , and I haven't even been given a chance
It feels like I have to prove myself to them
That I am smart enough
That I am the same as them
That I deserve to be here
To be given the privilege of greater things
The honor to have the same opportunities as them
Perhaps it should be Americans first
But if you have brothers and sisters in need
Would you lend a hand for me?
