"jacob. park wherever convenient. the place of interest is seventy-five meters away to your right"

my boss says to me and i'm not exactly sure if she's tracking me or she's been following me mentally throughout the call.

regardless i try my best to get close to the venue and thankfully the parking lot was sparingly empty.

the opening ceremony for some other luxurious casino a rich bloke had decided to establish would commence at eight pm.

it was only five pm and i guess me being early was an understatement.

sighing, i turned off the engines and pinched the bridge of my nose.

i wound down the window and as soon as i was about to recline the seat and sleep away my spare time...

i saw her.

a pretty brunette seated on a chair by the side of the road, a table full of canvas stood before her and another empty chair stood idly by, facing her.

messy long curly brunette hair tamed under a grey beanie, brilliant green eyes (the color of olives) glanced at my vehicle reluctantly then she went back to drawing.

her brows were thick and messy, yet in some way they were able to maintain some scale of precision in how they were positioned.

her cheekbones weren't very prominent but they were high risen nonetheless.

her skin looked like a honey glazed pastry in her thick white jacket and scarf and her lips were chapped and pink.

sure i've seen a lot of pretty girls before, especially in my line of work.

there was nothing particularly different from her and the average pretty girl or any of the normal looking ones.

yet she caught my interest.

you caught my interest darling, and now i can't sleep

by six thirty i had settled on only glancing at her momentarily as i read through one of the pieces i was supposed to edit.

my glasses slid down my nose each time.

i had gotten so caught up in the book that it knocked the air out of me when i glanced up to see her staring at me through the windscreen.

as if realizing she was caught, she flushed and even though far - i could see her gasp slightly.

could feel the warm air leave her rosy lips and envelope the vitals within me.

i smiled at her instinctively (thought it almost faltered) and her pupils dilated.

soon she was shuffling to escape to the corner store five buildings away.

for a while i watched her basically waddle away without her things, snow flakes cascading rapidly around her frame.

without thinking, i retrieved my camera and took a picture

then i went after her.
