lilly's depression cut her heart in half.
meanwhile, she was aiming mindless questions at the dominic, not because she's angry or heartbroken...
because she cares.
it mentally hurt her for seeing someone's past, this someone being a person she would take a bullet for.
dominic didn't know how to describe the feelings running through him,
whether it was good
whether it was bad
whether it was happy
or even sad.
it was anxiety.
it was anxiety that was running through dominic's veins.
and there's no surprise that not only lots of blood is gushing down both of lilly's arms,
because she also has anxiety.
dominic started seeing stars in broad daylight
and lilly started feeling the pain from those cuts for the first time in weeks
and they both hurt like hell.
until, they felt their hearts rise
and revive into the monsters that they were born to be
and broke free.
then, both of their hearts ran free.
toward each other.
and then there was chaos.
