Words unspoken
A girl that's broken
A girl that hides
A girl inside that always cries
I see her when I close my eyes
Wrapped up tight, so lost and alone
No one there to bring her home
I numb the pain, I have no choice
The fear that's there, keeps my voice
At 10 years of age I locked her away
Keeping her safe from the man that came
Letting her go is not an easy feat
How can it be when fear is concrete?
