~Chapter 36~: Baby

~Long time skip, back at the dorm~

Scarlet's POV

When me and Nathan arrived from the dorm with our own luggage, I flopped on my bed but I received a text message from dad.

Annoying father:
Sweetie, I have a perfect suprise
for you please go to the house
                                                      
Scarlet:
I just arrived from a school trip to L.A now you want me there?

Annoying father:
Listen to me! or else I'll move you to another school and what did you do at L.A

Scarlet:
I will go, project

I told Nathan that I'll be going to my parents' house and he said yes. When I arrived at their house I knock on the door. My mom opened it. "Sweetie, you don't need to knock, it's your house too remember." My mom said. "Remember the last year when Laurence went back from his friends and just barged in the house then dad smacked him with a bat." I said. "Oh yeah right." My mom said.

~Flashback~

I was just a grade six pupil. I was doing my homework while listening to music. I then heard a bang from the door downstairs. *smack* I went out of my room and saw Laurence on the floor, dad that has a bat with mom, and Cadence are standing next to him. "What happened?" I asked. "Dad smacked Laurence on the head, he thought he was a robber." Cadence explained. "Then why are you guys standing there! Bring him to the hospital!" I said. "You heard your daughter, put down that bat and bring him to the hospital!" My mom said and my dad brought him to the hospital.

~flashback ended~

"Yeah that was bad." My mom said. "Y/n!! My lovely daughter!! How are you?" My dad asked. "I'm great dad." I said. "So about the news...." My dad paused. "Your gonna be a big sister!" My mom said happily. OMG! I have always wanted a littler brother or sister!! "Really!? boy or girl?" I asked. "It's a boy." My dad said. "YAY!!!!" I said jumping up and down. "He can have Laurence's room not mine." I said. "Sorry but we already decided that we should put him in your room since you're good at taking care of babies." My mom said. "But...." I paused and ran to my room. Half of my room is color blue and half of it is color white. "Oh thank good my posters are still here." I said and took my posters of the wall. I looked at the bedside table. "Hmm. What is this?" I asked myself. It was a picture. It was me, Vanessa, Jane, Kate, Kayla, Clara, and Nicki. We took this picture last last year when we were grade five. We took a lot of it. It is actually in one of my dressers. I took the picture. I went to check one of my dressers. The upper left dresser has my kid toys when I was small. I don't know why I still have does but it will be useful for my little brother. Upper right dresser has the pictures. I looked at one of them. One picture reminded me of when me, Jane, Clara, Nicki, and Vanessa performed our dance. I took all of it. I then went down. "What are does?" My mom asked. "Posters and pictures." I said. "I'll get going now, my boyfr-...my best friend is waiting for me at the dorm." I said trying to act like I didn't almost say boyfriend. "Did you say boyfriend?" My mom asked. "Did I hear boyfriend!?" My dad shouted from the kitchen. "No! I absolutely don't have one." I said. "Says the girl who has a lot of admirers." My mom teased. "That was when I was little." I said. "Let me meet him someday." My mom teased. She is always teasing me when it comes to boyfriends or relationships. "Whatever." I said and rolled my eyes. I then went back to the dorm.  "Nathan! I'm back!" I shouted. "Oh just in time for dinner." He said coming out from the kitchen. "You know, you need to introduce me to your parents. Katie knows about them but the me." Nathan said. "Someday. Someday." I said. "What is that?" Nathan asked while pointing to the posters and pictures. "Posters and pictures." I answered. ""Oh guess what." I said. "What?" Nathan asked. "I'm gonna be a big sister. Isn't that great!" I exclaimed. "Wow, really?" Nathan asked. "Yeah." I said and went to the room. I put the posters and pictures near my bed and I changed. I then went down and me and Nathan started eating dinner then took a bath and slept.
