We where all equally excited and nervous Luke and I took the max to school, there where so many homeless people more than I had ever seen finally we arrived. I was wishing that Marin fit in and that she didn't have as hard time as I was. I had never been popular but I had friends I only had a quarter left in school so I'll be fine next year I'll have friends every one will be new to high school I'll be fine. Luke had more luck than me he was having the time of his life he was always better than making friends than me. I was always bad at making conversation with people I would always say something stupid. I'm just going to eat in the hall I mean this is humiliating, as I walk down the hall with my lunch there are some people that look to be my age eating and talking in the hallway I start to walk faster as this girl says "you can sit with us if you want"
"Umm ok that's nice of you"
She says " No problem my name is Clementine by the way, that's Duke" as she points to a boy maybe in sixth grade he is short and very thin "he is in eighth grade he is sooo small" Clementine chuckles to her self and he looks up
" you fucking idiot I skipped a grade what do you fucking think" said Duke
Clementine just laughs
" he's like that don't mind it, he is so funny when you get to know him"
"Well that's violet she is the music person, she is in our band"
"You have a band? " I say
"Yep I'm the guitarist, Duke does the drums Violat is the base player and Jimin he's Koran
He's the singer"
Then my day was pretty good I made some friends I went home and drank some tea.
