Answers:
1) I'm mostly a Romance author. I really love how Romance is the only genre that can be mixed with any other genre to produce a beautiful story. Love is important right? And apart from this I am normally writing about Teen Fiction / YA stories, sometimes ChickLit as well. But I think I can write about anything, (even if it turns out gross) because I like to keep trying. Everything should be tried once, every genre should be attempted once. Who knows, this can be your ultimate way of self-discovery about which subject you choose to write on.
2) Ideas are mostly the dreams I have. Some of them are even personal experiences. And most of them are just because I am simply smitten by the Romance books of different authors and I am exploring my side of writing the same.. with my own plots and twists.
3) I joined Wattpad when I thought that this is the time to show my writing skills on a higher platform where people would read my stories and I would get feedback for them. I genuinely need good reviews on my stories so that I come to know whether I am eligible for getting published someday and how people would react to the story worldwide. Wattpad helps me to share my work with a load many people from different countries and they all are a family now.
4) No.. I don't hate anything about writing. It is just a process of improving your talent and I think the more you write the closer you are to perfection in this field. All those books which I have in my bookshelf always give me motivation to write something of my own, thinking of that one day my book too will get a place on someone's bookshelf. Writing takes me closer to my dreams and that is all that matters. Rest is just the roller-coaster ride.
5) I love reading books of mostly all types. But in a library or a bookstore I always find myself intrigued by the Romance novels, sometimes Fantasy and Sci-Fi as well. Horror too can be a great way of break for me when I am bored reading the same genres for a long time.
6) Yes, there's something I would ask the beginners to do. This maybe all of us have heard a lot in our struggling writing process, but I would say that before one writes, one should read. And this is the truth. I read a lot myself. Some days when I don't get much time to read, I make sure to at least write a minimum of five paragraphs so that I always keep in touch with writing. Whatever happens one should never lose hope and should always hold on. Always remember the better part is still to come.
7) My most favorite place to write is in my bedroom. It is a shame but I do accept that I love a bit of comfort while I am writing and my bed is my happy nook, I just stay there and do literally whatever is possible to be done from there. And when it comes to writing my bed is the place where ideas generate in my brain. And also sometimes beside my bookshelf I sit on a chair and start writing. The sight of all those published books in front of me, give me the inspiration to keep working hard.
8) My hobbies are writing of course, reading (and collecting books), painting (I have won many certificates and first prizes in painting), singing, sometimes baking and when nobody is around I simply turn the lights off and put my earphones on, hence drifting in my dimension of thoughts and creating new ideas for my stories.
9) My most favorite quote (rather just a word) is from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, it is 'Always' said by Severus Snape in the Prince's Tale. I love this single word so much. It hides a lot in its depth but superficially it is just a single word. 'Always' gives me strength when I know that I am losing and I have to stand up because life has yet not ended just with one loss. I say 'Always' to carry on no matter whatever hardships may come in my way. Because even when I lose and crumble and think there is no way I can gain back my previous self, I just ask myself one question - "Do you still want this?" I say "Always" since I never came into trying these things just to give up when I lose.
10) My inspirations are two of the most wonderful women in the world, one is my mother. She has been so strong throughout all the struggle in both of our lives and when I found myself falling in despair she never forgot to pick me up, even when she was falling herself. And then comes J.K Rowling. She has always inspired me as a woman of great strength. Both the two women have taught me that life is not always as we want it to be. When we get the good we should always be prepared for the bad. And after that? The Good. Ups and downs are so common. They add salt to our life, otherwise what is life without a little bit of struggle? My most favorite quote by J.K Rowling is "It matters not what someone is born, but what they grow to be." I was not born to a famous family with a silver spoon in my mouth, but I will make sure that I die in a gold bed when the time comes. Even when my life is a bit dark at this point, there is sunshine at the end of this darkness and I know I can grow to become the best of me. Morphing is the law of nature after all.
