Angel, Demon, or Both

He's both?

Third Person

On August 31st, Maria Pines was about to give birth to twins, she was excepting one girl and one boy. She was in the hospital and she was in the delivery room with her husband, Mark Pines a demon. It isn't odd for a Demon and a Angel to get married and have children, but it would always be a demon child or a angel child. If it was twins it would be a demon and demon, Angel and Angel or one of each. 

They were told that it would be one of each, but that was only a education guess because sometimes the doctors would be wrong. They had to wait and see if it was angel or demon, nothing out of the ordinary happen, just a woman giving birth and her husband right beside her. Once the giving birth part was done they were brought to a different room for a moment or two. The nurses gave the twins to their parents, Mark had Mable while Maria had Mason. She smiled at her husband and looked back at the child. 

"Ms.Pines?" Dr. Rodriguez  said with in a unpleasant tone.
"Y-Yes." Maria stuttered
"You gave birth to a beautiful baby girl and boy-" Dr.Rodriguez was scared to continue her sentence
"Is there something wrong?" Mark asked her.
"The girl is an Angel." She wanted to start the good news before telling them the complication.
"That's wonderful." Maria said.
"What about the boy?" Mark asked in pure excitement. 
"H-He's both, I've never seen anything like this, he's the first of his kind but this has never happened in history. I thought it wasn't possible for a child to be both angel and demon but, I don't know the future for this child." Dr. Rodriguez said.
"How come you didn't tell us this would happen? Shouldn't you have known this possibility?" Mark said.
"I-I didn't know that this was possibly, I thought about it and it seemed impossible but I guess it wasn't. A child is suppose to posses one form or the other, but something during the development stage must have reacted and changed his genetic code. Your son would have been a demon, but something happened and it caused only one of them to become both." Ms. Rodriguez said before leaving the room.  

The room was filled with silence. Mark looked at Maria and tried to comfort her but nothing worked. She was worried about Mason and about his future, she was scared for him that he would pass on in a early age. Dr. Rodriguez came in with results for both Mabel and Mason, some were good and some were bad. 

"I have the results, Mabel is perfectly health but you have to watch out when she learns how to use her wings and gets her wings and Mason with his wings as well. Mabel has light grey wings and Mason has white wings. The problem with Mason is that he can also have pitch black wings, but were not certain about it yet because it can possibly because he's half demon." She said.
"Mason has both white and  black? Mabel is fine, right?" Maria said.
"Yes, perfectly healthy child you just have to be careful when she finally gets her wings and they would come in when she's about two or three. Mason will also get his wings about that time." She said.
"Is Mason going to survive?" Mark asked.
"Demons and Angels are very powerful, they both have completely different powers and different minds. Since Mason contains both demon and angel abilities his body won't be able to take that much power, the power inside his body is too strong for him to control on his own and he's very dangerous to himself. His power will continue to grow over time, he's very unstable." Dr. Rodriguez said.
"Is their anything we can do?" Mark asked. 
"We have some drugs that we've been working on for people who can't control their powers, it hasn't been tested but it can possibly help him." Dr. Rodriguez said.

"Alright." Maria said.

"He's very weak right and won't get his abilities until he's older, but still bring him back for test and how he's doing." She said.
"Alright." Maria said.
"Come back to me, if anything else is going on with Mason." Dr. Rodriguez said.
