I've been hanging out with Pinetree more and more everyday. This ray of sunshine is all I've ever wanted. I mean Pinetree is... Nevermind...

It's been the three days since Pinetree healed me. I'm at home and I'm suppose to meet Pinetree at the park around four. Will comes into my room and makes a weird smile.

"Where are you off to?"
"What's with the smile?" I asked.
"There's nothing wrong with smiling Bill." Will said.
"Is there something you want?" I asked.
"I've been curious about you and Dipper." Will said.
"What about us? " I asked.
"You've been acting strange." Will said.
"How strange?" I asked.
"Everyone thinks that you're changing. That you're not like your usual self." Will said.
"I'm still me." I said.
"Maybe it's just us." Will said.
"Maybe." I said.
"Alright." Will said.
"Bye Will." I said.

I left the house and started to think about what Will said. Have I really changed? I mean I'm still me, right? This question started to invade my mind. It wouldn't leave. Why does it bother me?

While walking to the park I actually spotted Pinetree. I went over to him and made a soft smile. He smiled back and messed up my hair.

"I thought that was my thing? " I said.
"It is but I wanted to do it." Pinetree said.
"Alright, where do you wanna go? " I asked.
"Anywhere really, I'm just really happy today." Pinetree said.
"I'm glad you are."I said.
"Let's go." Pinetree smiled.

Pinetree held my hand and we raced off somewhere. I haven't seen him this excited in a while.

We went into town instead of the park. We walked around and saw familiar people. Random people from our school and from different schools. Mainly middle and that one other high school we have.

"I forgot that his town had another high school." Pinetree said.
"Our school isn't that big." I said.
"I know it isn't." Pinetree said.
"Let me tell you something. Pyronica was suppose to be in the other high school." I said.
"Really? " Pinetree said.
"She went there for a month and then came to our high school." I said.
"That's cool." Pinetree said.
"She moved here because it was boring and her grades were trash." I chuckled.
"Aren't they still trash? " Pinetree said.
"Very true." I said
"At least she's trying to do better." Pinetree said.
"I'll give her that." I said.

Pinetree made a soft chuckle and my heart was pounding. He looked at me and made a soft smile. It didn't feel like his smile sad real. It felt fake.

"You're a bit red." Pinetree said.
"Allergies." I said.
"Okay." Pinetree smiled.
"You're so cute." I blurted out.
"Hehe... I know by now." Pinetree said.

Even if the smile to fake, I still fall for him. The things I swoon over for. It's hard to ignore that feeling. We started walking to different places.

We finally decided to go to the park. Pinetree was someone that I would always look after. I promised him that I'll keep him safe. I promised myself that I'll protect him.

I want to keep my little tree safe.
No matter what happens I'll always be there for him. We went to the park and we sat under a tree. Pinetree placed his head on my shoulder and smiled.

"C-Can I tell you something." Pinetree asked.
"Of course." I said.

I felt his hand on top of mines. I looked at him and he looked scared. I placed my hand on top of his cheek and looked at him.

"Does it matter if I'm demon or not?" Pinetree asked.
"I don't care what you are Pinetree, as long as you're safe." I said.
"I've been hiding for so long because I'm scared about what others will think." Pinetree said.
"You don't have to hide anymore Pinetree because there's people that love you." I said.
"I know but I-I still can't." He said
"I promised to keep you safe, I promised that I wouldn't let anyone hurt you." I said.
"Who's going to protect you?! I promised myself that I'll do anything to keep you safe." Pinetree said.
"Pinetree you're my everything and I know that because I care about you. I know you have this thing where you have to protect people, but you need someone to protect you." I said.
"I know that you're scared because of what they did to you. You want to protect because you want no one to end up in that situation. I'm here for you and no matter what you are, no matter where you are I'll always be here for you." I said
"What happens if everything is my fault? I want to tell you, but my mind isn't letting me." Pinetree said.
"I know that you trust me because of everything we've been threw." I said.
"I-I feel like that you'll see me differently." Pinetree said.
"I wouldn't you differently. Angel, Demon or both, I wouldn't see the person I love differently-"

I realized that I confessed my feeling to him. I kind of felt embarrassed that it was like this. He's just so important to me.

I can tell that I gave him a honest look. That every word I said came from the heart.

"Y-You -"
"Pinetree I would always love you no matter what. I've always loved you because you're you" I said.
"I-I "
"I know that things can be scary, I won't let anyone hurt you." I said.
"I'm both." He said.
"I don't care if you're both! I just want the person I love to be safe." I said.

I leaned in and softly kissed him. I felt his arms around my neck and felt him kiss back. I just want him to know that I love him so much. That I'll do anything to protect him.

We separated and I looked at him. I saw a dull smile on his face.

"I just want you to be mines, it's fine if your both. Demon and Angel, I'll love you no matter what." I said.
"I've always felt this way about you." Pinetree said.
"I'm not surprised that you're both." I said.
"I tried didn't I." Pinetree said.
"I just want you to know that I'm here for you and I'll never stop loving you." I said.

Pinetree smiled and hugged me tight. I wanted to tell him so many things, I want him to know that I love him so much. I know Pinetree is both now, for sure.

I just want to love him until I die.

"You're my angel." I said.
"You're my demon." Pinetree smiled.

Pinetree let's go of me and we both smile at each other. I got up with me and hugged him one more time.

He's finally mine

I love him so much.
